JOB FUNCTIONS: Perform a wide variety of activities related to the order fulfillment process for copier and printer products including parts and sub-assemblies. These include installing performing product test and evaluation, executing software diagnosis, machine, fixture, and component repairs and upgrades.

Read and interpret directions/instructions from a PC based system and/or from written text or verbal communication. Provide troubleshooting or diagnosis of issues with shop floor control systems as part of the manufacturing environment.

Provide training, guidance, direction and instructions to other assigned personnel and, as required, co-workers, in lieu of direct supervision.

Work with process development team to try out new releases and provide feedback on process performance. Work with engineering team to insert modifications and enhancements to repair processes as part of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Log failure data and repair results and prepare reports as required. Participate in root-cause failure analysis and review meeting to diagnose problems and provide counter measures to prevent re-occurrence.

Assignment includes major and minor repairs and troubleshooting of products. This includes identified failed parts or sub-systems.

May be required to build, repair, and maintain test fixtures used by the production operators. Fixture development or maintenance may require the use of salvage parts and sub-assemblies from various equipment sources. Participate in feedback sessions with product development teams regarding observed issues.

Tools and Equipment: Hand pallet trucks, tape machines, containers, dollies, as well as common hand tools, and portable power tools such as screwdriver, wrench, pliers, etc. In addition, utilization of scanning devices, computer terminal/keyboard/mouse will be utilized as job aids.

Assist in Quality reviews and audits as needed.

Materials: Copier and Printer, assemblies, sub-assemblies, components (mechanical & electrical), consumable items, supplies, software, corrugated materials, and packaging and labeling materials.

Source of Supervision: Engineer or his designee, Quality Specialist, or Lead

SKILLS: Trouble shoot as required and correct / repair as necessary.

Read and interpret packaging specifications, process documentation, assembly/disassembly instructions, and software documentation. Able to do secondary level machine analysis and performance evaluation. Ability to work effectively with a mixed Union and Contract industrial work force including adherence to recognized separation of duties. Perform any other duties as required by management.

EXPERIENCE: Understanding of electro-mechanical systems including trouble shooting and repair.

General familiarization with system, subsystem, and component level interactivity required. Must be familiar with standard ESD practices. Must be able to perform the essential functions documented for this position.

Candidate Education:

EDUCATION: Associates Degree in Electronics or military training in electronics or Trade School certificate in electronics and / or equivalent experience.

Strong organizational skills are needed on a daily basis as well as the ability meet LTL and freight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Shipping & Receiving * Monitor LTL freight requests as needed and coordinate with Shipping Departments & Customer Service at multiple facilities to arrange daily transport to customers using best pricing and delivery timelines to meet agreed upon deadlines * Book confirmed LTL freight requests with approved LTL provider * Track and confirm LTL pickup and delivery within accepted time/date parameters * Process all LTL invoices daily for payment * Complete all LTL daily paperwork and submit to internal stakeholders * Coordinate with carriers, customer service, customers and other company personnel to expedite LTL shipments and resolve problems * Manage LTL pickup and delivery issues with both internal and external customers * Effectively communicate any pickup or delivery issues with all stakeholders as necessary * Responsible for ensuring that proper shipping methods/vendors are being utilized * Other freight duties may be assigned including but not limited to IBT (TL), small parcel, and final mile (TL) deliveries * Work directly with Traffic Manager daily to assure seamless pickups and deliveries * Projected percentage of duties: 75% LTL freight management, 25% other duties as assigned Pricing/Invoice Auditing & Processing * Work with Traffic Administrator to audit all LTL Freight Invoices as necessary and as required by Sr. Global Logistics Manager * Perform OS&D investigations as needed daily for any issues with LTL shipments. * Audit on-time delivery of all LTL shipments and submit & track refund submissions. * Manage the communications of all LTL shipment data into Freight database including shipment details, carrier, costs, GL Coding, etc as directed by the Traffic Manager or Sr. Global Logistics Manager * Coordinate with Shipping, CE, & Carriers to find appropriate resolution when discrepancies/issues are noted/reported * Verify all LTL freight invoices with Traffic Administrator * Provide shipping rate quotations to stakeholders as requested within one business day And other duties as assigned by Sr. Global Logistics Manager.
