Job Description

As an HR Associate Manager within PepsiCo PepsiCo Beverages North America, you will provide daily Generalist support, including employee relations, performance management and leadership development, to a salaried employee population across the New York businesses, focused on the marketing & commercial teams. In addition, you will be expected to partner with Senior Leadership to drive sector-wide HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include, yet not limited to:

  • Build and execute HR initiatives in the areas of staffing, people capability, positive workplace initiatives, org health, safety and employee relations

  • Establish credibility and influence as a leader among the Marketing & Commercial leadership teams

  • Improve management capability by enhancing management skills and abilities through training, coaching and leading by example

  • Consult Talent Acquisition and OD partnership to recruit strong talent into the businesses and drive organizational health improvement

  • Provide direction and leadership to managers in the performance management and succession planning processes

  • Experience working with multiple functions

  • Balancing multiple priorities

  • Ability to plan, manage, and track projects, and to communicate about them with multiple involved parties.

  • Ability to develop authentic relationships with a diverse audience of professionals.

  • Must be collaborative and a team player

  • Results driven, seeks accountability

  • Proficient with all Microsoft office products. Excel and/or PowerPoint experience preferred.

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • A Master's Degree in HR, Labor Relations OR a minimum of 2 years' experience as an HR Generalist within another Consumer Products or Manufacturing company

  • Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Labor Relations or Human Resources Management

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Labor Relations or Human Resources Management

  • Prior experience as an HR Generalist in another Consumer Products and/or Manufacturing company

Relocation Eligible: Eligible for Limited Relocation

This Human Resources Manager (HRM) provides leadership and development of the North Division People and Talent strategy. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and execute key initiatives that support the overall division and PBNA talent strategy * Partner with the VP HR and the leadership team to implement communication plans for division * Conceptualize and execute content and communications approach for key programs, events and meetings (ex. intern programming, D&E, recruitment communication for frontline/professional populations, linked in, people planning, internal people communications, etc.) * Partner with the HR leadership team to build communications plans that align with business and people priorities * Partner with Centers of Excellence to cascade tools, capability and expertise across teams supported * Partner with the VP Human Resources and Sr. Director Division HR supporting broader division processes and/or strategic efforts Qualifications/Requirements Education/Certifications: * Bachelor's Degree required; major in Communications/ Business / Industrial/Labor Relations, Human Resources Management, psychology, or other related field preferred Work Experience: * A minimum of 5 years of prior Human Resources Business Partner and/or Organizational Development experience is ideal Skills & Capabilities: * Understanding of, and some experience with, most or all of the core aspects of Human Resources Management * Ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items * Proven ability to influence decision making * Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills * Demonstrate poise, maturity and the ability to operate with the utmost confidentiality * Courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professionalism and confidence * Comfortable working in ambiguous business situations * Strong expertise in developing solutions based upon facts/data analytics * Must possess consultative style and approach with proven ability to develop credible relationships with business partners. * Advanced PowerPoint and presentation building skills preferred * Strong skills in Excel/Word * 25% division travel Relocation Eligible: Not Eligible for Relocation Job Type: Regular All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
