Assess the app at a high level to understand the different type of services across multiple user base, roles, access criteria's etc.

Define the selection criteria e.g., criticality, compliance requirements, readiness, no. of external users, no. of attributes, roadmap etc.

Interview the business stakeholders, risk & compliance teams

Analyze the integration, roles, groups, attributes in PlainID solution. Interview application SPOCs to gather the required details.

Assess and Present the services. / screens, Score/rank the services./ screens / Select services / screens to design roles and policies for the PI in progress.

Prepare & present the communication plan

Present the PI-wise policy configuration plan for the selected services/screens based on the availability & readiness of the stakeholders.

Revise and update the plan as per the feedback

Interview SME, Chief Development Leads (CDL), Solution Architects (SA) and collect existing documentation that pertain to authorization requirements

Analysis of existing Documents, systems and authorization policies

Analyze the existing myOptigo codebase for user interface and business service layer, database, test scripts from authorization perspective and identify patterns in which the same is implemented in code

Document findings Propose final technical solution and deployment architecture for creating authorization policies and code changes to use policies from PlainID Identify different patterns in which authorization has been setup currently (hardcoded) in the microservices, micro[1]frontends and design for easy reusability of pattern-based solution

Propose the complete test plan to perform authorization testing

Solution should ensure that existing features continue to work the way it is currently in terms of allow/deny of screens, attributes, services, etc.,

Development and unit testing of user interfaces to use authorization policies from the centrally managed authorization system (PlainID) Development and unit testing of business service layer to use authorization policies from the centrally managed authorization system (PlainID) Support deployment team Bug fixes Implement security best practices and fix security vulnerabilities. Implement logging and monitoring of services Ensure the quality of deliverables Maintain communication with the stakeholders Development of functional and performance test scripts for new code created as part of IAM Provide support for internal testing Provide support for Customer testing Perform Performance testing for access management and support Work with myOptigo team to enable successful integration of PlainID policies with myOptigo platform Support to Production Deployment Go-Live Release & cutover support during and post deployment.
