Summary

This position is primarily responsible for supporting specific components of a large project or support initiative using project management techniques and analytical abilities. The incumbent diagnoses and solves business problems ensuring decisions are consistent with management directives and the Technology strategic plan. These decisions greatly impact the corporation and the operational effectiveness of the Technology Department

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in Carbon Black App Control; is familiar with mitigation strategies for various cyber threats; and has the ability to provide knowledge transfer to staff.

Demonstrate deep system administration experience of computer systems especially in Linux environments

Configure, operate, and maintain Carbon Black App Control for Windows and Linux systems

Drive collaboration with teammates across organizations and with the management team to identify opportunities to improve control and reduce risk and keep the organization in compliance.

Perform system administration within web console and on endpoints, including policy and rule tuning utilizing advanced rules such as performance optimizations and kernel exclusions.

Participate in the development of specific content necessary to meet Oncor s security operations goals, to include: the formation of content-specific queries, templates, reports, rules, alerts, dashboards, and workflows

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

4-6 years experience with VMWare Carbon Black App Control

3+ years professional experience administration of server Operating systems: Unix/Linux

High School diploma, GED and relevant work experience is required; Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related field is preferred

Comfortable with ambiguous situations capable of analyzing, simplifying, and collaborating to solve complex problems

Strategic thinker, self-starter, organized, versatile, and capable of performing work with minimal management oversight

Ability to implement, configure and maintain Carbon Black Endpoint installations, Endpoint policy configuration on Windows and Linux

Experience with scripting languages (Python, Powershell, etc.)

Strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong customer service

(1.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies (2.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases (3.) To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans. (4.) To independently resolve tickets and esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team. (5.) To provide support for on call escalations orL3 level support and doing incident and problem management (6.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviewsorparticipation in hiring drives.
