DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Improve E-Business Suite Upgrade Process to reduce the downtime.

Work with Dev team & Support technical issues arises because of the upgrade. Clone Database & E-Business Suite for Upgrade. Patch & upgrade E-Business Suite env.

Document Upgrade Steps & known issues which can be reference for subsequent iteration.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Skills: Strong knowledge Database Administration tasks (configuration, sizing, space management, monitoring, patching, upgrades, performance tuning, troubleshooting and administration.). Strong knowledge and application of ORACLE APPS Database administration tasks (adadmin utility, patching, concurrent Managers, users and responsibilities, code promotion, index rebuilding, configuration etc). Expertise in Oracle EBS Release 12.2 (or higher) technical architecture, including knowledge of underlying database architecture, with particular reference to schemas/products, database objects, file system structure, tables, views, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, sequences, indexes and constraints . Broad knowledge of and experience with WebLogic application server, including configuring, troubleshooting and tuning Practical experience with advanced topology elements like shared APPL_TOP, Oracle Cluster ware, Rapid Application Cluster (RAC) and Automatic Storage Management (ASM). Good UNIX/Linux knowledge and good automation (UNIX/Linux scripting). Consultant must have performed duties such as installing, upgrading, and supporting (patching, troubleshooting, tuning). Oracle EBS software and associated Oracle Technology stack in multi-tier/multi-node/multi-platform environment, comprising database server, applications server, web server, concurrent processing server, reports server, forms server, admin server, and discoverer server. Systems Analysis and Performance Tuning (Oracle Database 12c/19c, WebLogic, Oracle Application Server, JVM Tuning, Application SQL and PL/SQL code tuning, etc.) Review existing configurations and installations and provide design decisions for improvements to platform environments.

Work with Oracle vendor and its respected support channels when required. Work with multiple application teams and developers to troubleshoot technical issues.Experience : 5+ years recent practical experience as Oracle EBS DBA, demonstrating 2+ years sustained period of performance on previous 2 most recent assignments. (1.) To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations. (2.) To create work plans, monitor and track the work schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards. (3.) To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity. (4.) To ensure process improvement and compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview.
