Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst performs the more responsible, varied, and complex technical analysis in accordance with Office of Tax Appeals policies and regulations. Serves as a primary information source and appeals analyst for tax appeals being prepared for hearing or written decision before an Office of Tax Appeals (OTA) panel of Administrative Law Judges (ALJ). Manages the scheduling of all appeals for their pre-hearing conference and oral hearing before a panel of Administrative Law Judges, which requires frequent planning sessions with the Hearings Division.
