Reporting directly to the Supervisor of Financial Systems Support, this position aids in delivering comprehensive financial systems management across MaineHealth. The primary focus is to assist the supervisor and the team in acting as a liaison between IT and Finance in relation to financial software production, implementation, testing and training. The associate role takes on many foundational tasks of the department, while working to develop a deeper understanding of the vital role systems play in the financial and operational aspects of MaineHealth. The responsibilities of the associate analyst will encompass various aspects, including data integrity and structural maintenance, user access and training, process improvement, health system support, performance management, and customer service.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS or related field preferred.
License/Certifications: N/A
Experience: Zero to three years of related work experience in order to gain a full understanding of the various aspects of financial management and processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and works under the general supervision of team members.
Performs routine assignments at an entry level.
Ability to train users in the use of computer technology so as to achieve identified goals.
Strong knowledge of personal computers as well as information systems capabilities, procedures and practices.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
Develops competencies by performing structured work assignments.
