Design and prepare financial analyses and modeling related to academic or business strategic initiatives, proposals, and other ad hoc data requests. Assemble, analyze, summarize, and forecast financial, economic and other data. Manage executive level reserves; oversee and report on unique funding plans for programmatic initiatives. Determine strategies for managing resources to capitalize on funding opportunities and advance priority initiatives. Present findings and analyses in formats appropriate for senior management. Participate on project teams and committees to bring financial and data analysis leadership and perspective to the team. May mentor other staff to increase their skills. Specific functions include:
Perform and prepare financial analysis and provide special management reports as needed for the Capital Program Management team.
Analyze data with standard statistical methods, interpret the results, and provide written summary of data analyses. Present data in clear concise means using graphs, tables, databases, formatting, etc. ensuring accuracy and consistency of data.
Serve as liaison to the business intelligence community concerning capital construction data need.
Maintain the quality of construction finance related data within systems utilized throughout the capital program and participate in the design, development and effective implementation of necessary operational construction reporting.
Establish, design and document standardized reporting measures, and serve as the functional and technical expert to provide for ad-hoc reporting pertaining to construction project financial data.
