In this position you will be responsible for advancing and maintaining Terex Aerial Work Platform's Ergonomic improvement activities through training, process improvement, project management, and promotion and implementation of proven ergonomic tools. You will work with your management team to establish a future state vision and develop a plan for implementation.
Support the site's ergonomic risk reduction efforts
Utilize the Risk Priority Management System (RPM) to help prioritize, manage, assign, and track progress of ergonomic improvement activities
Deliver basic ergonomic awareness training as required
Periodically update leadership team on identified ergonomic risk factors, status or improvement milestones, and additional resources required for successful improvement implementation
Perform Ergonomic assessments on existing job tasks
Be involved with basic design and fabrication of Ergonomic solutions
Embrace Terex Business System philosophies
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
2+ years of Lean Manufacturing experience
High School Degree or equivalent
Ability to identify and reduce Safety and ergonomic risks in a manufacturing environment
Basic design skills Solid Works
Experience working with a diverse group of people in a team environment and comfortable with presenting to small groups and delivering standard training materials
Effectively deals with ambiguity and is self-directed/motivated
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Hands on ability related to Fabrication
Knowledge of common manufacturing processes (metal fabrication, weld, paint, assembly)
