We are seeking a self-motivated Engineer to be responsible for oversight of the Azure server infrastructure used by the Robotic Automation Services (RAS) team.

In this role, you will monitor the utilization and capacity of the servers, install and configure software upgrades as necessary, maintain the security certificates, find opportunities for savings or methods to optimize the use of the infrastructure.

You will also have an opportunity to attend training and learn to develop automations to be executed by the virtual workforce (aka, Bots, or software robots) using the enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tool, Automation Anywhere.

As an Engineer you will:

  • Ensure that physical and virtual infrastructure support platform and software operations

  • Select, upgrades and integrates new technologies; maintains existing technologies

  • Resolve critical technical issues relating to software or hardware

  • Ensure that large-scale distributed systems operate optimally

  • Documents and executes simple software components of larger architectures

  • Installs and configures software

  • Monitors the capacity and utilization of the infrastructure, including validation of the monthly financial chargebacks

  • Maintains security certificate, including a process of refreshing the certificates as necessary

You will bring:

  • Familiarity with agile and DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and other approaches to accelerate the delivery of new features

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle

  • Understanding of how technology supports the business strategy

  • Experience designing, implementing and maintaining large systems

  • You like to be part of a team and participate in code reviews, share skills and methods

  • Good organizational and analytical skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills; able to effectively articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes

  • Interest in new technologies and understanding how they will change what comes next
