Associate Engineer

Job Description

As an Associate Engineer, you will be tasked with writing work instructions for installing AC/DC and programmable cabling and equipment. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with onsite electricians and external contractors for electrical installations, assisting in construction and design tasks under the guidance of a technical lead, and procuring and maintaining inventory of materials based on job requests. You will also collaborate with subsystems for project integration, manage material handling for electrical subsystem handoffs to Removal & Installation (R&I), and ensure that materials from large procurements align with job requests.

• Write work instructions for installing AC/DC and programmable cabling and equipment.

• Coordinate with onsite electricians and external contractors for electrical installations.

• Assist in construction and design tasks under the guidance of a technical lead.

• Procure and maintain inventory of materials based on job requests.

• Collaborate with subsystems for project integration.

• Manage material handling for electrical subsystem handoffs to Removal & Installation (R&I).

• Manage materials from large procurements to ensure kits align with job requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience (5+ years)

• Proficiency in NEC and NFPA 70E standards

• Experience using CAD and Microsoft Office tools

• Familiarity with PLM systems like Windchill

• Ability to navigate Creo View
