Wiley is a leading global publisher of business books. The Acquisitions Editor for Wiley's trade business book publishing program will be responsible for acquiring and managing business, leadership, and technology-oriented titles for a global business audience. The ideal candidate will identify and sign new authors who are thought leaders in business, coach authors on sales and marketing, collaborate with colleagues around the world on marketing, and maintain and strengthen author relationships.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have: Three to five years of experience acquiring trade books; an editorial perspective with a strong sales and marketing orientation; In-depth knowledge of business, leadership, technology, management and related topics; excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills; The ability to work collaboratively.

The Role: The Markets Editor will assist with content creation, media inventory, and the delivery of all media. The Markets Editor will work closely with our full-time editors throughout the post-production process. The Markets Editor will localize concert tour material and pre-produced theatrical television spots. Position will help with editing of commercials as time allows. Responsibilities: * Primary * Create, edit, and apply graphics for local customization of tour spots * Encode and deliver approval digital files to account reps and clients * Encode and deliver electronic media to distribution department for final shipping * Secondary * Organize tasks in order system and coordinate with Video Department Coordinator on projects * Gather and organize logos for local markets * Maintain server organization; clearing old material as necessary * Coordinate with other Markets Editor and Distribution Department * Assist other Video Editors and/or Creative Director, when possible * Closed Captioning and Encoding of material, as needed. * Subtitle custom video elements for multiple Social Media platforms * Digital distribution of finalized materials. Qualifications: * Familiar with Avid * Basic knowledge of Apple products * Basic knowledge of Adobe products (After Effects, Photoshop, AME) * Basic knowledge of digital media encoding and delivery * Attention to detail and great organizational skills * Motivated and self starter * Ability to multi-task * Decent knowledge of music (all genres) * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word applications * Ability to work well both independently within a team environment * General proficiency in Spanish (not necessary, but a bonus) If the above description sounds like you and fits your background, apply online at www.livenationentertainment.com/careers to join the Live Nation Entertainment team today!
