Associate Documentation Specialist

As a Associate Documentation Specialist will be responsible for the final preparation of engineering drawing packages to the customer and to manufacturing. You will work with project managers, manufacturing, and engineers within defined parameters to ensure that drawing packages are provided to meet customer expectations. Reporting to Engineering Manager.
Ensures that the documents required by the engineering team is maintained in compliance with the company's procedure. Verifies format, receipt, registration, number, filing, recovery and the issue of documents.
Prepares and updates progress report to engineering specialists as per schedule
Creates submittal packages in document record system.
Transmit approval/submittal drawings to project manager and/or customer for engineered to order projects.
Creates drawings packets or folders for manufacturing.
Creates O&M manual packages for final customer submittals.
Sends re-mailing of drawing packages for field changes.
Applies company procedures related to document management information systems correctly.
Records and monitors record documents sent for offsite storage.
Associates degree in IT, administration, or related field.
Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment.
Ability to work independently, or as part of a team.
Ability to welcome change and work in fast paced environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision.
Experience with Windchill or similar PLM software.
Ability to read or interpret engineering drawings.
Willingness to support off-shift manufacturing teams.
