Aramark Uniform Services (AUS) provides uniforms and related products to more than 400,000 customers nationwide, in virtually every industry.   • Within assigned districts, support the efforts to maintain satisfactory targets for cost controls and growth. Proactively follow up on accounts in jeopardy and lost accounts.

  • Perform daily route check-in by reviewing and approving invoices, deposits and other necessary documents for accuracy. Conduct weekly route observations within assigned districts.

  • Execute prescribed action plan and truck audits when directed/as necessary.

  • Support the efforts to drive company Action Plans and hold the route organization accountable for executing against those plans.

  • Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a continuous focus on customer service. Make direct service calls and resolve service concerns.

  • Maintain close coordination with production department to resolve shortages and other production related opportunities.

  • Through implementation and execution of company safety initiatives, create an environment where safety is a primary concern.

  • Partner with the sales organization to identify areas of growth.

  • Periodically fill in on routes to cover for sick days, vacation, etc.

  • Achieving defined milestones to progress to DM position, ideally within 9-12 months.

  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by management.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of service industry experience ideal

  • Must possess current and valid driver's license and where required meet DOT requirements.

  • Must be at least 21 years old.

  • Able to operate a Step Van or similar vehicle

  • Prior P&L accountability and/or Contract-Managed service experience preferred

  • Strong customer service and sales results

  • Able to handle exposure to adverse and varying weather conditions which may include extremely hot/cold temperatures.

  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment requiring irregular and long hours.

  • Must be able to frequently lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds, as well as load/unload product from a truck without assistance

  • Solid computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office software

  • Successful completion of Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle Record, and Drug Screen checks

Position Summary: The Production Manager is responsible for monitoring and guiding all production activities related to the Reading plant. He/she shall advice, control, and support operations to guarantee compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Regulatory Laws, and Corporate specifications, policies, and procedures. A working knowledge and understanding of Spray Drying production processes, Pharma/Infant GMPs, and excellent communication skills are essential to the successful fulfillment of the position requirements. This position is required to function as coach and counselor as well as a key decision maker. Essential Responsibilities: * Personally follows and enforces all safety policies and procedures. Works to advance and promote the safety culture of the site. * Ensures the safety of personnel and property by making sure that unsafe acts or conditions are corrected. This position routinely inspects safety equipment, investigates any potential hazards and recommends corrective action. * Ensure all Quality and Food Safety/GMP procedures are sufficient and adhered to by plant personnel. * Lead efforts to develop long-term capital investment strategies. Lead the scoping, design, and implementation of approved capital projects. * Monitor data on Safety, Quality, Cost, and Efficiency and develop continuous improvement plans. * Maximize the sales generated by the Child Nutrition business through optimization of the production schedule as well as coordination of scale-up activities for new products. * Develop staffing plans and optimal production schedules to maximize efficiency and throughput. * Monitor all production operations on a regular basis; take corrective action when deviations from specifications are apparent; report problems and corrective actions to operations staff in a timely manner; observe production processes for compliance with written SOPs. * Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities for repairs and equipment upgrades. * Set goals/objectives with Plant Manager and other senior leadership. * Comply with all policies and procedures of the Corporation. * Performs other duties as needed. Essential Education/Experience/Skills: At least a Bachelors Degree in a technical field with 5-10 years of experience in plant operations with at least 3-5 years of supervising the work of and coaching others. Knowledge and previous experience in operations regulated as Pharmaceuticals or Infant Formula (21 CFR Parts 210/211 or Parts 106/107) desired.
