KalVista seeks an Associate Director/Sr. Manager, Patient/Digital Marketing, which is critical to the organization's mission as it prepares to commercialize sebetralstat, a novel, oral plasma kallikrein inhibitor. KalVista recently reported positive results from the KONFIDENT Phase 3 study which demonstrated that sebetralstat met all primary and secondary endpoints for the on-demand treatment of HAE attacks and the safety profile was comparable to placebo. The Company plans to submit a new drug application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the first half of 2024 and expects to file for approval in Europe and Japan later in 2024.

The Associate Director/Sr. Manager, Patient/Digital Marketing position will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and tactics to drive HAE patient and community engagement for our initial product launch of sebetralstat. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for building meaningful and engaging patient experiences across a variety of channels including CRM, media and social. They will have a deep understanding of patient journeys and how to help improve patient experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Extract key customer and marketplace insights to document patient and caregiver journeys and uncover behaviors and content areas that effectively engage target audience

  • Lead the creation and delivery of branded website support of launch

  • Lead the branding efforts of our patient services program and development of core launch assets in close partnership with our Patient Services team

  • Guide the development and oversee tactical implementation of branded patient ambassador program and associated initiatives to support patient storytelling across digital channels

  • Build and optimize an omnichannel plan across customers that includes CRM efforts within both disease state and branded platforms

  • Implement and evolve messaging and creative for patients, caregivers, and broader HAE community that deliver against launch objectives

  • Partner with Insights, Analytics, and Operations to evaluate and measure impact of omni-channel marketing activities

  • Prioritize and lead multiple projects, and effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal and external partners

  • Ability to communicate with and foster strong relationships with business functions outside the team to successfully lead initiatives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry within digital marketing

  • Experience managing external agencies and vendors including effective budget oversight

  • Operational knowledge of medical, regulatory, legal review process

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to meet deadlines

  • Skilled at building and maintaining effective relationships in a cross-functional environment

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills

  • Ability to think innovatively in terms of engaging with customers and meeting their need

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to travel up to 25% or as needed for conferences and meetings

  • BS/BA degree

  • Two days (2) per week on-site office presence
