The Associate Director, Talent Acquisition for Global Development is responsible for recruiting senior level roles across our R&D business units as well as leading a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists and external TA partners. The incumbent will have a thorough understanding of pharmaceutical / biotech development cycles and business strategy in order to deliver results for Regeneron's internal business units. The primary objectives of this role will be to develop and expand differentiated recruiting strategies that will engage, attract and retain top-talent as well as to develop strong partnerships with all stakeholders including: employees, hiring managers and leaders, the candidate marketplace, search firm partnerships and diversity/inclusion-affiliated organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead top of industry recruiting team that is customer focused, flexible, responsive, and achieves goals within agreed time frames and budgets.

  • Experience working with senior management as a best in class talent acquisition professional.

  • Establish and develop effective working relationships with HR Business partners and senior business leaders to lead, and manage the recruitment process to meet short-term and long-term talent planning and gap strategies.

  • Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise on talent in a competitive landscape to Talent Acquisition, HR and Leadership teams.

  • Lead with high integrity. Ensure recruitment methodologies and hiring practices are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures to ensure appropriate and fair selection, assessment, pre-screening, and post-employment methodology.

  • Manage to established talent acquisition success criteria, through reports and metrics that demonstrate ROI including quantitative and qualitative success measures.

  • Demonstrate ability to think strategically, analytically and objectively. Effectively able to manage with data by translating data into actionable insights, strategies and action plans.

  • Be viewed as an expert and key partner to functional business and HR leaders on emerging staffing trends and workforce analytics. Gather stakeholder feedback to continuously drive quality and effectiveness improvements.

  • Exhibits a strong, highly collaborative working style, builds strong relationships and has a willingness to roll-up his/her sleeves and address tactics and execution as needed.

  • Act as primary talent partner on senior level and confidential positions.

  • Manage searches in partnership with retained and contingent agency partners as needed.

  • Build systems and processes from the ground up, leveraging and managing in house, field based, and contract team members

Requirements:

  • Requires BS/BA. MS preferred

  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or related field with biopharmaceuticals; experience/expertise with working knowledge of drug development

  • 5+ years of experience managing and leading Talent Acquisition Teams

  • Heavy recruiting project management experience

  • Exceptional business acumen; good judgment and intuition

  • Executive presence, a dynamic professional with the ability to inspire confidence in senior leadership and all stakeholders with whom she/he will interact

  • An outstanding communicator; Strong oral and written communication skills, in addition to strong presentation and listening skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, intellectual capacity, emotional intelligence and an outstanding ability to build relationships both internally and externally; collaborative team player

  • Ability to successfully and genuinely influence without authority

  • A strong capacity to deal with ambiguity in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment

  • Display energy, drive, passion, creativity and commitment

  • Knowledge of various CRM, ATS, and other recruitment technology platforms, legacy and new to market

  • Experience with skill and talent assessment tools and competency based interview models.

Summary: The Global Development Data Steward will lead Global Development's data governance activities including processes, policies and guidelines for administering the organization's data and records and ensure the Operational data processes are efficient and effective from end-to-end. The Data Steward documents and monitors data standards and data curation policies and processes in partnership with Functional Areas. S/he ensures that there are documented procedures and guidelines for data access and use. The Data Steward is responsible for managing Global Development's Master Data and ontologies and serves as a point of escalation for governance, data quality and protection issues. List both technical and managerial requirements if applicable. * Drive consistency of data governance approach across Global Development Functional Areas including Clinical, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Affairs and Precision Medicine. * Lead the design, definition and delivery of operational data exchange between Regeneron and its strategic partners e.g. CROs * Establish, implement and maintain a Global Development-wide federated data governance framework with business objective of ensuring quality of data. * Establish the methodologies to define ontologies and taxonomies for information management at the Functional area level and curate at the Global Development level * Capture and document metadata and ontologies for Global Development data and records. * Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards and data protection standards, processes and procedures cross functionally and within individual functional areas. * Develop & maintain Global Development data maps including authoritative systems and owners * Partner with members of Global Development, other Regeneron Departments and external third parties, to continuously validate and improve the quality of internal and external data * Engage with the industry to learn about best practices for data stewardship and introduce new innovative capabilities to the business. * Partner with members of Global Clinical Development, as well as external third parties, to continuously improve and validate data provided to our business partners * Develop and analyze metrics for data quality and data management processes. * Ensure alignment to security and privacy requirements/standards Requirements: * Functional area expertise preferred.
