Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of strategic projects across various functional areas

  • Typically, these projects are designed to advance consumerism within our organization

  • Manage large scale business transformation and technology programs including stakeholder management, CBA development, financial management, operational readiness and value realization plans

  • Present to stakeholders and senior management on product updates and expected results

  • Manage overall plan, issue resolution and monitor execution

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree

  • 5 years of health care experience

  • 5 years of experience in management of Product Management, Project Management or PMO programs

  • Experience working in a national or global company

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, team building and relationship management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA

  • Big 4 Consulting Experience

  • PMI certification

  • Prior success leading programs / portfolios of $1M within large, complex managed care and/or insurance organization

The candidate for this position will have extensive experience in Product Management. They will provide strategy, identify growth opportunities, determine business objectives and lead the team of Product Managers. With the help of Marketing, Sales and Product Development, they will conduct market research supported by on-going visits to customers to specify the best value for market requirements. The research will test product theories, determine features and functions, develop user experience effectiveness, and leverage product innovation. This role will require lean start-up experience. This will help in determining the product roadmap and timing to ensure timeliness to market. The Director of Product Management will be held accountable for the success of Jenzabar products in the market and for leading a highly productive team. This role will be expected to travel up to 30%. This position reports to the CEO. </p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL TASKS</strong></p> <p>• Responsible for overall strategic vision and plan for products and the entire portfolio in order to achieve or exceed strategic goals for market share, top-line, and profit growth.</p> <p>• Manage a profitable P&amp;L and develop a strategic business plan for all Jenzabar products. Must be objective and willing to make hard choices regarding investment prioritization for the good of the overall organization.</p> <p>• Provide outstanding leadership to the team and build process to support the strategy of the company.</p> <p>• Provide lean start-up principles in work with the team.</p> <p>• Understand, analyze, identify, define, and size market segments and sub-segments.</p> <p>• Understands essential aspects of OPM learning design with emphasis on digital learning solutions that address customer workflow and learning challenges. Ability to bring winning customer driven solutions to market in an effective and efficient manner.</p> <p>• Bring customer-focused solutions that have strong value propositions, meet demonstrated market needs, and provide unique competitive advantage.</p> <p>• Anticipate discipline and industry trends, with a focus on solutions grounded in a market knowledge gained through data-driven market research.</p> <p>• Manage product lifecycle of multiple products simultaneously within scope and budget.</p> <p>• Fully understand and track all product activity that affects Jenzabar products, including any product launches/enhancements and competitor movement. Develop a keen understanding of all competitors; develop an ability to anticipate competitor activity as it pertains to product or subject area.</p> <p>• Identify and test product ideas within segments, including the administration of focus groups, advisory boards, reviews, customer meetings and sensing as appropriate.</p> <p>• Regularly analyze product and portfolio plans to align forecasting and measurement of progress towards goals; provide business case for investment decisions.
