As part of the PHAM DSC/FMC team, plan and execute training curriculum and support communication activities for the PHAM National and Regional teams. The PHAM teams engage with Population Health Decision Makers at payers and systems of care, seeking to build robust and compliant partnerships to achieve the triple aims of Population Health Management through effective implementation of evidence-based interventions in disease areas of mutual interest.

Your Responsibilities:

Training:

In coordination with FMCs:

  • Plan and lead PHAM training schedule and bi-monthly Education Calls, including speakers, resource roll-out, role playing, and prioritizing TA Education Calls

  • Coordination point for Market Access Plan of Action (POA) meetings, Launch meet-ings, and other cross-functional meetings and trainings, such as immersion meetings and preceptorships

  • Develop workshops to enhance effectiveness of PHAM team's engagements with cus-tomers, in collaboration with Field Medical Excellence (FME)

  • Identify ongoing training opportunities and maintain PHAM knowledge of evolving healthcare landscape

  • Coordinate PHAM new-hire onboarding on (1) cross-franchise product portfolio, (2) systems of care/IDNs, (3) population health management, (4) managed care/access and (5) HEOR/RWE. Coordinate evaluation and certification of new hires utilizing the iSEM Rubric.

Communication:

In coordination with DSC and FMCs:

  • Provides operational & project management support for the PHAM team in the achievement of their goals

  • Continually evaluates to improve processes to create operational efficiencies for PHAM team (Weekly Bulletin, PHAME SP site, etc.)

  • Owns and manages PHAM and Onboarding SharePoint sites - maintain and improve organization, update and archives out of date materials

  • Participates on work streams when requested to introduce new programs/new pro-cesses, and procedures

What You'll Bring to the Role:

Minimum: Advanced degree in a relevant scientific/clinical discipline.

Desirable: Training in health economics, outcomes research, population health, and/or health services research. Experience developing adult training strategies and activities.

English: very good spoken and written

  • Thorough knowledge of designated therapeutic area: clinical medicine, disease management, medical research practices, healthcare business and managed market knowledge.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate study results.

  • Experience working with third party vendors, contracts, compliance and governance boards

  • Must possess a thorough understanding of the FDA, OIG, HIPAA and other guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry and to ensure compliance with these external and Novartis internal guidelines and standard operating procedures (e.g., Ethics & Compliance guidelines).

  • Ability to lead without authority

  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation and project management skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in organizing, strategizing, prioritizing and communicating within a matrix organization on a cross-functional team

  • Strong personal integrity, teamwork abilities, and customer focus are necessary.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and to effectively coach, train, and mentor scientific/clinical persons at all skill and knowledge levels.
