You will be responsible for orchestrating the implementation of the Sparkle Up/US Repositioning Strategy across the US/North America organization to ensure brand and business objectives are met. This includes all strategic initiatives as well as projects to help sustainably drive the CGB business in North America and win in a challenging and competitive market environment.
ABOUT THE JOB
Responsible for developing in conjunction with the central strategy team a strategy performance review system, with clear KPIs and monitoring mechanism to track progress across the different strategic initiatives and projects of the Sparkle Up Strategy
Responsible for continuously analyzing key opportunities and threats based on market and consumer insights and developing solutions with key stakeholders to support strategic decision making among Management Board members and Market Cluster MD
Communicate and escalate (if necessary) any potential roadblocks towards the execution of M strategy to the Market Cluster MD as well as propose solutions where adaptation of the strategy might be necessary
Establish a network of key stakeholders in CGB but also with external partners and displays lateral leadership to accomplish organizational goals, identify opportunities and resolve key challenges
Foster commitment to the implementation of the strategy through active collaboration across the entire organization, clear communication and facilitation of decision making
Support the MD / Market Cluster in the development of any business cases of strategic relevance and works closely with Controlling as well as other central and local departments to align and facilitate implementation on the plans
Work with the Controlling teams and key stakeholders across the entire organization to ensure strategy plans in North America are also considered and potentially already embedded in the short- to mid-term plans to enable the strategic plans to come to life
Provide strategy consultancy support to core leadership members and the MD Market Cluster and acts as communication bridge towards the Management Board team but also provides feedback on key decisions to the Market cluster team
Support on any other key strategic assignment / project as aligned with the MD Market Cluster
We are looking for a motivated talent, who brings along the following background:
8+ years of professional experience including 3+ years in a similar strategy development role in the Consumer Goods Business / Fashion business or in a top tier strategy consulting firm
Strong strategic skills and 360 business acumen (brand, marketing, consumer, sales, finance, marketing, supply, HR)
Strong consumer orientation and knowledge of the consumers, behaviors, culture, lifestyle and trends
Ability to link strategic and operational perspectives to ensure proper strategy execution
Experience and expertise in solving complex problems either with limited or with large amounts of information
Resilient with ambiguity and complex business situations; forceful, persuasive, influencing and outspoken
Proven execution skills (pragmatic, innovative, open to change) and exceptional communication skills
Effective stakeholder management, builds commitment and trust, influences others positively
