The Associate Director of Sales is an experienced senior level hotel sales role that reports directly to the Director of Sales. Responsibilities include managing and leading the sales staff as well as managing select key accounts.

The position is typically an 18 24 month commitment with a clear goal to experience the training and developed necessary to become a future Director of Sales for Hyatt. The ADOS responsibilities include but are not limited to the mentoring and training sales staff, recruitment and hiring of sales staff, leading sales meetings, working with catering and convention services, involvement with the annual business plan process, forecasting, owners meetings, systems training, report analysis, P&L management, business travel and tradeshows, customer entertainment, community involvement and networking. This position may be required to serve as Director in the absence of the Director of Sales.

We are currently seeking a Health Systems Sales Director to join our professional sales organization. Responsible for overseeing assigned territories of (IL, MN, MO, KS, IA, WI, MN, KY, TN, TX). As a Sales Director you will identify and develop relationships with pharmacy prospects in a defined territory to uncover the needs, wants, and business applications for our market leading pharmacy automation for the health system and IDN market segment. Sales Directors will use consultative sales processes to manage both short and long-term selling cycles based on the complexity and volume of the prospect's operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: * Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas by either generating new leads or following through on qualified leads to progress prospects through the close of a sale in a given geographic territory. * Develop demonstrable knowledge of all Parata Systems / TCGRx solutions and their business application. * Demonstrate an ability to overcome objections by utilizing effective communication skills. * Schedules regular communication with new, existing, and prior customers and prospects using the framework of Parata's sales process. * Proactively maintains documentation of activity within our CRM to support accurate reporting, team communication, and general awareness of pipeline activity. * Ensures customer satisfaction by meeting all requirements for quotes on proposed contracts; recommending changes, appropriate pricing, or other special considerations; monitoring the sales order process from data collection through order acceptance to delivery; monitoring sales activity and equipment performance levels to ensure compliance with contractual agreements; identifying and resolving customer complaints, escalating as required. * Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner; participating in team sales calls, proposal development, field Sales presentations, representing sales at trade shows and industry meetings. * Maintains professional and technical knowledge by monitoring media and publications, attending educational workshops, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies. * Ability to manage large geographic territory efficiently and effectively, with willingness to travel up to 75% of the time. Education, Experience, and Knowledge * Bachelor's Degree in a business or technology related field with 5+ years direct sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Proven ability to hunt / prospect to generate new sales leads and progress them through to a closed sale. * Proven ability to manage and maintain focus on both short and long-term sales cycles. * Experience selling capital equipment or other complex solutions that result in operational changes for the customer is preferred. Pharmacy or healthcare sales experience strongly preferred. * Must have a proven track record of meeting / exceeding a defined sales quota.
