Compensation: $63,000-$68,000 commensurate with experience plus full New York State benefits package.

Description of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Associate Director for the Residential Experience, the Associate Director of Residential Education is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the residential learning initiatives for the Department of Residence Life and Housing. Residence Life and Housing (RLH) leads the development of the strong residential character of the SUNY Oswego campus and provides a common experience for most of the undergraduate community. Situated within the Division of Student Affairs, RLH plays a critical role in furthering the mission and vision of the Division and in achieving institutional enrollment goals through cutting edge business services, direct interface with the holistic needs of students and their families, and nationally recognized residential education practices. RLH works to advance student attainment of General Education goals with residence hall initiatives organized through a curricular approach to residential education.
The Associate Director is a key member of the Residence Life and Housing Leadership team. The Associate Director for Residential Education will develop, implement, coordinate, and assess a residential curriculum model and the living learning community framework consistent with the strategic goals of the College. The Associate Director will work collaboratively with a wide range of campus partners to support the overall success of maintaining a holistic residential community focused on student learning and success.
