This role is responsible for leading the Resale Partner Sales team to exceed annual sales goals across multiple lines of business. This position is responsible for directing our strategic resale accounts and creating opportunities for future growth and will report to the Corporate Marketing Department. Collaboration with Marketing and Portfolio Owners will be a critical component to the success of this role. This leader will possess an entrepreneurial mindset to find revenue in unique channels that we don't sell to directly and will require travel up to 25%.
Identifies, develops, cultivates and manages resale partners to increase revenue. Identifies and positions opportunities, facilitates contracts and negotiations, and leads the team that manages ongoing relationships.
Creates and communicates a long-term vision and strategy for growth, taking into account industry/niche goals and product/service mix corporate goals, aligning tactics with objectives.
Develops and implements sales growth plans, working in collaboration with business partners and key stakeholders to ensure expectations are understood and met
Leads the Business Development executive(s) to determine the feasibility and applicability of strategic partner options based on product roadmaps and market segmentation priorities.
Leads, develops and coaches associates:
Provides clear expectations, feedback and recognition
Participates in the hiring/selection process
Writes and conduct performance evaluations and progress reports
Handles associate relations issues
Delivers results in line with the following key metrics/accountabilities:
Budget creation and control
Product/Service mix goals
Sales per associate
Revenue per account
Manages expenses in line with departmental budgets and corporate business conditions.
Carries out responsibilities in a fair, ethical and non-discriminatory manner and ensure that staff follows these same guidelines.
Enforces and support all company policies and procedures. Fully support the company's commitment to safety and the environment and strive to maintain a clean, healthy and safe workplace.
5+ years' experience in a sales or marketing leadership role.
Experience in a sales or account management role focused on strategic relationships, preferably with experience in the field.
10+ years proven track record of meeting sales and/or revenue goals.
Experience developing plans and strategies surrounding partnership opportunities and collaborating with leader teams to execute accordingly.
Transportation or workplace safety Industry/niche experience a plus.
Excellent relationship building and professional networking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and time management skills.
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time.
Travel requirement: 25%
