The Associate Director of Recruiting and Talent Strategy at ADMA Biologics reports to the Executive Director of HR and is a working manager responsible for overseeing all aspects of talent acquisition and talent management. This role involves leading recruitment efforts, ensuring compliance with employment laws, fostering partnerships with industry organizations, forecasting talent, workforce planning, and supporting talent development initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in talent acquisition within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

Qualifications

Key Duties (ES):

  • Design and execute the recruiting strategy, overseeing all aspects of the Talent Acquisition process, including recruitment and onboarding activities across multiple locations.

  • Ensure excellent candidate care and customer service to primary stakeholders.

  • Operationalize and optimize all recruitment activities to drive continuous improvement.

  • Lead and supervise recruitment staff and recruitment coordinator, providing guidance and support in executing recruitment initiatives.

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers, and Line Management leaders to understand staffing needs to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies.

  • Develop and implement workforce planning tools to forecast staffing plans for various departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with affirmative action and employment laws, maintaining alignment with federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Cultivate partnerships with industry organizations and universities to enhance recruitment efforts and pipeline development.

  • Support the creation and execution of talent development programs and initiatives to foster employee growth and engagement.

  • Execute business talent reviews under the direction and leadership of the executive director.

  • Track and report on candidate pipeline status, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

  • Actively participate in internal and external communications related to talent acquisition and talent management.

  • Any other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Duties: 2-3 Recruiting Resources

  • Partnership Development: Cultivates partnerships with industry organizations and universities to enhance recruitment efforts and pipeline development, expanding the talent pool and strengthening the company's brand.

  • Adaptability: Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to jump in where needed, effectively balancing working and leading responsibilities to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

  • Communication: Actively participates in internal and external communications related to talent acquisition and talent management, effectively conveying information and building relationships with stakeholders.

  • Initiative: Takes initiative in executing business talent reviews and other assigned duties, demonstrating a proactive approach to driving talent development initiatives and supporting organizational objectives.

Compliance Requirements (ES): The minimum compliance expectation for this role entails strict adherence to FDA regulations and company policies governing sales and marketing activities. This includes completion of required compliance training, accurate documentation of sales interactions, and adherence to data privacy regulations. Additionally, the role requires proactive participation in compliance reviews, prompt reporting of any potential issues, and ongoing education to stay updated on relevant FDA regulations.

Physical Requirements (ES):

  • Mobility: Ability to move around the office and other work areas to interact with colleagues, attend meetings, and oversee recruitment activities across multiple locations.

  • Manual Dexterity: Capable of operating standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers, as well as handling paperwork and documentation related to recruitment processes.

  • Visual Acuity: Must have sufficient vision to read and analyze documents, review candidate resumes, and navigate computer screens effectively.

Travel Requirements: Depending on the organization's needs, occasional travel to different locations for recruitment events, meetings, or conferences may be required.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or human resources roles, preferably within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and executing recruiting strategies, overseeing all aspects of the Talent Acquisition process, including recruitment and onboarding activities across multiple locations.

  • Strong understanding of affirmative action and employment laws, with a proven ability to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Preferred Education Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Certification in HR-related fields such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), or other relevant certifications.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or human resources roles, with a focus on the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Experience in high growth companies with demonstrated success with accelerated leadership readiness and high-volume talent acquisition.

  • Proven track record in designing and implementing successful recruiting strategies to attract top talent in a competitive market.
