Associate Director of Quality Enhancement/ HIPAA Privacy Officer

SCHEDULE:

Monday through Thursday: 8:00am to 4:15pm

Friday: 8:00am to 3:00pm

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Director of Quality Enhancement this position is responsible for providing guidance and direction for Quality Enhancement responsibilities including Incident Management, Audit and Survey activity, Council on Quality and Leadership and other quality initiatives.

Additionally, this position serves as the Arc Steuben's Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Officer. The Associate Director of Quality Enhancement/HIPAA Privacy Officer is responsible for providing oversight and guidance in the implementation of the Arc Steuben's HIPAA Policy and Privacy Practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's Degree in Human Services or related field required, Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience may be substituted for those holding a higher degree in an unrelated field.

  • Over 5 years of experiences, at least two of which will have included conducting investigations and supervision of others.

  • This position requires you to possess a valid driver's license for the state you reside in and maintain a safe driving record according to agency policy.
