Associate Director Of Operations, Innovation And Programs

What We Are Looking For

The Associate Director for Operations, Innovation and Programs will help support the mission and vision of Baylor University by providing leadership and mentorship to the Office of Engaged Learning.

A Bachelor's Degree and four years of relevant work experience is required. A Master's Degree and five years of relevant work experience is preferred. A combination of education and work experience may be considered in lieu of the required degree and/or years of experience.

Applicants must currently be authorized to work full-time in the United States.

What You Will Do

• Provide strategic leadership, alongside the Associate Dean for Engaged Learning, for the operations, processes, and work systems of the Office of Engaged Learning (OEL), including the development and maintenance of the Baylor Engage Portal and the OEL's integration with other campus systems

• Lead innovation efforts within OEL programming, including mentoring student innovators and helping to lead campus social innovation initiatives

• Provide administrative leadership, in concert with the Associate Dean and various OEL directors, of internship programs administered through the OEL

• Working with OEL directors, oversee administration of the Baylor Engage Fellows Program and Provost's Scholars Program

• Oversee evaluation and assessment of OEL activities, including administration of the Global Engagement Survey and the creation of an OEL annual report

• Support ongoing OEL programs and activities as needed

• Attend recruitment events, raise campus awareness of the OEL, cultivate and strengthen campus and community partnerships, and complete other duties as assigned

• Ability to comply with University policies

• Maintain regular and punctual attendance

• Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
