EF Tours for Girls, a division of EF Education First, is seeking a dynamic and driven Associate Director of Marketing and Strategy to assist in growing Tours for Girls 5x. In this role, you'll be responsible for working collaboratively to transform the pre-tour customer experience, leading strategy development and overseeing the integrated communications, marketing campaigns, and digital experiences that support Group Leaders (adults who lead the tours), parents and girls in preparation for their educational experience.

What you'll do:

As Associate Director of Marketing and Strategy, you will represent Tours for Girls within the bigger team. You will build strategies and deliver solutions that bring new customer segments into the brand and deliver outstanding experience pre, during and post tour. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Manage effective strategy and execution across the marketing suite including lead generation, performance media, content creation, email, web, events, sales materials, etc.

  • Analyze drivers of the business that contribute to retention, LTV and Net Promoter Score

  • Use data to make well informed decisions on marketing investments with the customer in the middle. Build a network of colleagues within marketing, the Tours for Girls brand and across EF

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align initiatives with business objectives.

  • Develop and refine customer segmentation strategies based on behavior and engagement metrics, ensuring personalized messaging that resonates with different audience segments

Who you are:

Comfortable and challenged to play a pivotal role on the fast-growing Tours for Girls brand destined for hockey stick growth within the much larger brand of ET. You can flex between strategy and execution. You're a strategic, customer-obsessed marketer with a deep understanding of relationship marketing including CRM principles, data analysis, lead generation, and content creation. You're passionate about cultivating strong relationships across the business and understanding our unique product and translating that understanding into an optimal customer experience that drives retention, furthering our mission of opening the world through education. You are a hands-on team player who lives up to our value that "nothing is impossible".

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience working in marketing roles where you had responsibility for lead generation, social media, customer communications, content creation and/or web experiences.

  • Solution-oriented and systems-focused, always thinking about how to solve a problem.

  • Able to think strategically and execute tactically.

  • Highly adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Experience operating in a test-and-learn culture, driving constant iterative improvements to the customer experience.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Broad understanding of business-to-business and direct-to-consumer sales

  • Experience working across web, email, SMS, content creation.

  • Proficient in Wrike, SharePoint, BrandFolder, Confluence and/or similar project management software
