Demonstrates a broad understanding of digital marketing and data analysis principles, particularly those focused on performance and conversion as it relates to SEO, paid search, conversion rate optimization, message testing, benchmarking, and KPI measurement.
Ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to identify, recommend, and help develop successful user and customer experiences.
Develop and analyze reports that cover marketing performance, site performance, user behaviors, ad budgeting and spend, and market research data.
Understand attribution models and reporting to optimize lead funnels and drive targeted marketing campaigns.
Lead and implement search engine marketing initiatives that support organic and paid placement through keyword research, marketplace competition, and data-driven targeting.
Collaborate with the brand, enrollment and content teams to develop impactful messaging that aligns with Towson University's brand identity and resonates with core audiences, with a primary focus on prospective students.
Time and project management skills with experience managing web-based projects from conception to requirements through execution and release
Strong technical knowledge of underlying internet technologies as they relate to SEO, tracking and digital marketing specifically modern HTML semantics, metadata and utilization of content management systems.
Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or related area.
Five years of professional experience in digital marketing or digital strategy-specifically working with web analytics, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, and lead conversion.
Experience with Salesforce.
Google Analytics and/or Google Ads certifications.
