The Content and Creative Strategy team consists of writers, designers, strategists, creators, and content marketers with a passion to engage and persuade donors to invest in the work of Emory. This position will report to the Senior Associate Director of Editorial Content.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Curates, creates, and designs digital content across Emory and external communications platforms to engage target audiences.
Segments and targets content to build increased awareness, convert, and retain constituent audiences.
Develops and manages the Advancement and Alumni Engagement strategy for cross-promotion of content to drive Search Engine Optimization (SEO) marketing efforts.
Drives and develops AAE content marketing strategy, creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain alumni/constituent audiences.
Determines strategy and generates content for digital storytelling, engagement, marketing and communications, design and research.
Partners with others to create storyboards and video content.
Stays abreast of latest trends in digital content, marketing, video, technologies and social media strategies.
Performs related responsibilities as assigned.

In addition to the duties outlined above, the Associate Director may be required to:
Represent the department or serve as primary contact working with other departments across the division/University.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience in content marketing, digital communications or digital marketing OR an equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful candidates will possess mastery in micro-storytelling, and framing content for targeted audiences that result in action.
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge and understanding of SEO/SEM marketing tactics.
Strong creative, organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and navigate a complex work environment.
Commitment to delivering excellent customer service, the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, and comfort working with ambiguity.
Possess a high level of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality with sound judgment and discretion.
The role will be granted the opportunity to work from home temporarily during the COVID-19 pandemic, with intent to return to an Emory University location in the future. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
