Summary:
In partnership with the Senior Director of Content and Creative Services, the Associate Director of Creative Services helps lead the development of effective, on-brand design concepts, layouts, and graphics to support the strategic goals of Rollins' Office of Marketing, including print, digital, product, and environmental designs. This person plays a key role in maintaining the Rollins brand in the marketplace, acting as the creative point person on a range of marketing projects while meeting ongoing deadlines, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring industry-leading quality.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serves as creative design lead on all marketing projects, overseeing all creative elements in collaboration with senior director
Conceptualizes and executes effective visual designs in alignment with goals and objectives
Helps manage production cycle, tracking projects from idea through completion
Partners closely with editorial team to ensure all creative assets meet requirements/objectives and are delivered on time and on budget
Ensures brand consistency and visual identity across communication channels
Helps provide creative direction and logistical support for photo shoots and partners with photographer(s) in the field to ensure resulting photos align with creative vision
Manages relationships with printers and other external vendors, including negotiating quotes, overseeing production schedules, and attending press checks and other site visits as required
Consults on brand-level marketing materials to ensure compliance with brand standards
Oversees licensing requests and works with external vendors to maintain brand integrity
Minimum Qualifications & Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in graphic design, art, or related field
5-7 years of professional print design experience
Demonstrable print publication design experience with a strong portfolio of relevant work
Technical mastery of required desktop publishing tools, including Adobe Creative Suite
Strong eye for visual composition and attention to detail
Solid understanding of marketing and brand development
Advanced knowledge of photography and photo editing
Organized self-starter with effective project-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple priorities
Ability to develop relationships with multiple campus partners and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of best practices in front-end web design
Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
Work Environment:
Orlando campus-based position, in an office/field environment, with the ability to flex and work from home.
Work requires visual strain and the use of a computer.
