The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a motivated, cause-driven Associate Director of Admin and Philanthropy Services. This position will provide leadership and support to philanthropic and branch administrative needs at the Tuckahoe Family Y. Responsibilities include board and donor administrative support, internal controls related to cash management, accounts payable and credit administration, collections managment, branch payroll processing, volunteer and facility software tracking, and overall support for all other administrative and business functions.

Support branch/department initiatives related to membership retention and Annual Giving goals.
Build and maintain positive relationships with members, volunteers and staff.
Serve as point of contact for board members and volunteers and provide administrative support for board meetings and other volunteer events.
Prepare detailed reports and maintain data for management which will require use of fundraising-specific software.
Administrative responsibilities including, but not limited to, entering gifts and pledges, preparing deposits, maintaining donor information, producing monthly and annual pledge reminders, correspondence, pledge and gift entry, and filing.
Provide training and assistance to staff regarding existing financial development policies and procedures.
Responsible for branch cash management and internal controls, including daily bank deposits, reconciliations, petty cash management and training of staff on cash handling procedures.
Develop effective procedures for paying accounts payable invoices in a timely manner. Ensure staff adhere to credit card (PCard) procedures and associated deadlines.
Provide expertise and training to branch staff on business related functions.
Perform secretarial duties for selected staff and committee meetings
Assists as needed with events or special projects.
Serves as resource to staff members.
Must have a high school degree or its equivalent, with a bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of three years of practical experience is required. Exceptional attention to detail and good working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and Daxko. Position also requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Diplomacy, tact, and the ability to work with a variety of people are essential. Experience in supervision of staff desirable. Accounting expertise preferred. Must be able to work with deadlines, manage interruptions, and handle member and staff requests efficiently.
