Job Overview

The Associate Director, Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Program serves as a clinical educator ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching, scholarship, and patient care as part of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) Fellowship program. The Associate Director is responsible for the administration, management, evaluation, education, NP Fellow supervision, and scholarship in partnership with the Director, NP Fellowship program. The Associate Director dedicates an average of 60% of their time to supervising the NP Fellows and program development and 40% of their time to direct patient care. Other responsibilities may include reviewing the program's policies and procedures, maintaining program accreditation, assessing NP Fellows' academic progress, and supporting the development of program faculty.

Minimum Requirements:

1.Nurse Practitioner with current, valid American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification.

2.Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a Family Medicine specialty is required, preferably in a Federally Qualified Community Health (FQHC).

3.Minimum of 2 years of teaching and educational experience with nurse practitioners is required, at an FQHC preferred.

4.Experience in community engagement preferred.

Salary Range

$105,112.00 - $131,390.00 annually
