We are currently seeking a Marketing Associate Director to support our newborn screening and genetic testing business. The successful candidate will have a major impact on the development and success of our molecular diagnostic business and NIPT.

This is an exciting position that requires active participation in cross functional teams with colleagues in Project Management, Regulatory, and Manufacturing across different Bio-Rad businesses to support product development activities.
Key responsibilities include customer requirements development to contribute to instrument, software, bioinformatics, and application development.
To be successful, the role requires close coordination with customers and key opinion leaders to understand customer needs and conduct product studies. The position will require up to 30% travel, both domestic and international.
8 years or more of increasing responsibility in product development roles.
Relevant experience would include NGS-tools providers (instruments and reagents) or a genomics company based on NGS (such as diagnostics, NIPT, consumer genomics, liquid biopsy-focused company) where sequence data is their product.
Detailed working knowledge of modern sequencing methods, the field of genomics, and informatics.
Demonstrated understanding of all "wet lab" elements in and around NGS, including sample and target prep, amplification and sequencing biochemistries, polymerase enzymology, surface immobilization of nucleic acids, sequence analysis algorithms pipelines and standard sequencing read out formats.
Extensive and successful experience in product development. Has put successful products in a box.
Working knowledge of developing products that are used in regulated (LDT and/or FDA approved) settings is desirable.
Track record of working with operations teams to develop robust, cost effective, high quality and manufacturable products.
Demonstrated experience in commercializing new products
Ability to develop overall business product strategy
