As Associate Director of Media (Commerce) you will be a strategic advisor to clients on best approach for their eComm campaigns and overall commerce approach. You will work in collaboration with other agency Media Team members who are leading Brand focused efforts to drive best results for clients. You will participate in Groupe level Commerce COE and be the conduit for sharing learnings, opportunities and best practices. You will supervise internal team activating retail partner search campaigns plus external teams activating across Retail Media Networks. You will be responsible for your team's accurate and timely delivery of work.

You will help our clients understand the evolving commerce landscape, inclusive of RMN's; Social Commerce; Virtual Shopping as part of holistic planning.

You will have the opportunity to create innovative ideas that bridge web, mobile, email, creative, search, in-store and digital media to provide solutions to clients that are based on a shopper insight and in context of overall commerce strategies. The role demands a love of the new, a passion for commerce driving media (both digital and instore) digital trends and technologies and an understanding of consumers, the client category and the brands.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who is comfortable working in an undefined space, who thrives when working with others, can creatively problem solve, and is willing to roll-up their sleeves to make things happen.

  • Commerce insights & planning - including evolution of shopper behaviors, media consumption and behavior, channel insights and strategy development

  • Experience mapping - path to purchase journey mapping, vendor partnership and creative messaging strategy by medium

  • Media design execution & measurement - including analytics and measurement, optimization and coordinating media buying with the partner agencies

  • Be able to tell stories that sell and sell well

  • Inspire others to be innovative and mentor those around you to help them grow

  • Build and steward internal commerce channel planning training and specific channel deep-dives as required

  • Be able to balance multiple clients

  • Contribute to agency growth: organically or new business pitches wins

Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience of managing commerce activity for a brand, retailer or agency

  • Deep knowledge of RMNs, their ecosystems, and go-to-market strategies

  • Strength in Digital, but understanding of Traditional channels and how they all work together

  • Ability to tell a simple, smart story using data both verbally and in written presentations

  • Experience in client service, and being able to lead through influence

  • Ability to be flexible, adaptive, and provide solution-forward thinking

  • Ability to display a passion that is not only legendary but contagious

  • Hand's-on experience with Media Planning Tools such as GfK MRI, Channel Optimizers, com

Score, Nielsen AdIntel, and other syndicated sources

  • eCommerce understanding - have worked on eCommerce programs for clients with 3rd party retailers - is a plus
