KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Learning & Development Project Manager to join our KPMG Business School organization.


  • Conduct project initiation and plan activities for Advisory training courses, including deliverables, resources, infrastructure and processes, communication and budget

  • Drive project execution, track status of all project components and manage changes in collaboration with project stakeholders throughout the project life cycle

  • Supplement the Project Management Office (PMO) Leader and help manage resources, workload and processes

  • Support the PMO leader in the implementation of the PMO strategy, contributing to the department wide effectiveness, improvements and efficiency goals

  • Directly supervise a team of project managers and monitor overall utilization of resources


  • Minimum of ten years of learning and development experience and a minimum of five years of project management experience; preferably from a professional services firm

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred

  • Excellent relationship management skills and advanced communication skills with the ability to tailor to various audiences and influence outcomes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project Clarizen or similar technology tools; Strong creative problem solving, negotiation, collaboration and critical thinking skills, including exercising professional judgment

  • Basic knowledge of adult learning principles and processes and KPMG Advisory services with exceptional project management skills; PMP is an asset

  • Ability to travel up to twenty five percent

Lifelong Learning program management activities include, program execution, marketing and outreach campaigns to drive attendance, quality control and ROI analysis, managing budget, conducting stakeholder analysis, research and analyze impact of engagement, create systems and processed to improve efficiency, transparency and effectiveness. The incumbent will have direct contact and communications with key external constituencies: alumni, high-level executive speakers, business leaders, government officials, prospect students and corporate donors. The incumbent will represent Wharton External Affairs and its mission to alumni, external contacts, students, and the Wharton and Penn communities.
