KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Learning & Development Project Manager to join our KPMG Business School organization.


  • Conduct project initiation and plan activities for Advisory training courses, including deliverables, resources, infrastructure and processes, communication and budget

  • Drive project execution, track status of all project components and manage changes in collaboration with project stakeholders throughout the project life cycle

  • Supplement the Project Management Office (PMO) Leader and help manage resources, workload and processes

  • Support the PMO leader in the implementation of the PMO strategy, contributing to the department wide effectiveness, improvements and efficiency goals

  • Directly supervise a team of project managers and monitor overall utilization of resources


  • Minimum of ten years of learning and development experience and a minimum of five years of project management experience; preferably from a professional services firm

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred

  • Excellent relationship management skills and advanced communication skills with the ability to tailor to various audiences and influence outcomes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project Clarizen or similar technology tools; Strong creative problem solving, negotiation, collaboration and critical thinking skills, including exercising professional judgment

  • Basic knowledge of adult learning principles and processes and KPMG Advisory services with exceptional project management skills; PMP is an asset

  • Ability to travel up to twenty five percent

Requirements * Bachelor degree in Education, or a related field; Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational/Instructional Technology, or a related field preferred. * 3 years of experience designing Virtual Instructor-Led, Web-Based, and Classroom Instructor-Led Training. * Proficient in executing all stages of the instructional design process - analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation - with an emphasis on new development and redesign. * Ability to design and develop experiential and transformational content for a variety of delivery methods including classroom, eLearning, and virtual delivery platforms. * Proficient with content authoring tools, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Captivate. * Designed and delivered formal product, consultative sales or customer experience training programs. * Proficient in delivering stand-up, distance, and self-paced learning utilizing adult learning principles for customer-facing audiences (sales and service teams). * Proficient with project management as applied to learning development projects. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on PowerPoint, Word, Outlook. DESIRED * Exceptional consulting and communication skills including an engaging presentation style, strong group facilitation skills, change management, and clear and precise writing. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to effectively listen, understand business requirements and translate them into products. * Team player with strong work ethic and strong collaboration skills.
