KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Learning & Development Project Manager to join our KPMG Business School organization.


  • Conduct project initiation and plan activities for Advisory training courses, including deliverables, resources, infrastructure and processes, communication and budget

  • Drive project execution, track status of all project components and manage changes in collaboration with project stakeholders throughout the project life cycle

  • Supplement the Project Management Office (PMO) Leader and help manage resources, workload and processes

  • Support the PMO leader in the implementation of the PMO strategy, contributing to the department wide effectiveness, improvements and efficiency goals

  • Directly supervise a team of project managers and monitor overall utilization of resources


  • Minimum of ten years of learning and development experience and a minimum of five years of project management experience; preferably from a professional services firm

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred

  • Excellent relationship management skills and advanced communication skills with the ability to tailor to various audiences and influence outcomes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project Clarizen or similar technology tools; Strong creative problem solving, negotiation, collaboration and critical thinking skills, including exercising professional judgment

  • Basic knowledge of adult learning principles and processes and KPMG Advisory services with exceptional project management skills; PMP is an asset

  • Ability to travel up to twenty five percent

This position will include, office leadership, and other firm-wide roles. The successful candidate will support our current staff while assisting in growing the PD&E practice to better service our clients statewide. This position offers a leadership role at an Engineer News-Record (ENR) Top 50 rated firm. This individual would assist other senior staff in collaborating with various transportation agencies in Florida. The ideal candidate is an individual who desires to lead through example, is professionally respected, an excellent communicator, and possesses a vast understanding of PD&E principles. The candidate will be managing projects under supervision from senior managers and work with junior staff members for successful project production and execution. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow a PD&E practice, work with various clients in Central and North Florida, and lead business development efforts for PD&E pursuits. This is an excellent role for a creative, self-motivated and detail-oriented professional that enjoys being a part of a team environment and growing team! Responsibilities include: * Manage PD&E, planning, and traffic operation studies * Lead the preparation of NEPA documents including Preliminary Engineering Reports, alternatives analyses, and feasibility studies * Lead business development and proposal efforts for PD&E and planning projects * Management of internal staff, sub-consultants, and client relationships * Assist with public involvement efforts and presentations Required Skills * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Planning (Master's Degree a plus) * Minimum 15 years of PD&E and NEPA experience; traffic demand modeling experience a plus * Florida Professional Engineer (PE) or AICP License * Experience with FDOT required * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with MicroStation and GeoPak * Strong communication skills, good time management skills, and the ability to work in a team environment STV Group, Incorporated Jacksonville FL
