We are seeking a high energy, experienced HR professional to partner with senior Otis executives. You'll work closely with key executives to design and deliver HR practices and strategies aligned to business objectives and in support of Otis transformation. You will provide direct consulting and coaching to leaders on how to align talent practices and strategies to business objectives and outcomes. You will act as an employee champion and change agent.

Specific responsibilities for this position include:

  • Possess effective level of business literacy; understanding of industry, business model, plan and strategy

  • Effectively assess organization and talent needs and design strategies that deliver business results

  • Deliver HR consulting, services, programs and strategic solutions using experience, data, trends, best practices and metrics

  • Analyze, draw conclusions and report on human capital metrics and key performance indicators; use findings to develop strategies and solutions to business issues

  • Trusted advisor to senior leaders; coach and counsel senior leaders in strategies to lead effective, high performing teams

  • Partner across HR function to deliver integrated solutions and services aligned to business needs

  • Assess existing organization structures and gaps in leadership capability; partner closely with functional leaders to envision and develop high performing, sustainable teams

  • Strategically and effectively apply HR programs to identify and develop future leaders, improve overall employee engagement, manage organization performance and support team success

  • Create and deploy high potential talent development programs on a global scale to address talent needs for client groups

  • Implement long-term strategic recruitment strategies to build strong talent pipelines

  • Maintain effective knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management to reduce legal risk; partner with functional experts and legal department as needed in developing solutions

  • Represent global functions and business unit priorities as a member of functional leadership councils

Preferred qualifications:

  • Global and remote experience

  • Experience managing others

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong executive presence required as the role will interface daily with Senior Executives

  • Ability to work effectively and influence others in a diverse and dynamic work environment

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with applying data to business challenges

  • BA/BS degree with 10 years experience or MA/MS degree with 7 years experience

  • 7 years providing Human Resources Client Management

We are seeking a high energy, self-starter to provide critical administrative support to our Vice President of Treasury and our Vice President of Controllership. The ideal candidate will exhibit a positive can-do attitude, sound decision-making and problem solving skills. You will be working in a complex environment with a demanding workload, dealing with confidential information, so you must be able to work to deadlines and have the ability to assimilate written and verbal communication. This role will primarily act as an executive assistant to the Treasury and Controller department's executive leaders, but will also have other department wide responsibilities. Specific responsibilities for this position include: * Maintaining schedules for meetings, conferences, and departmental events while anticipating conflicts and solving any scheduling issues * Organizing meetings and events including preparing agendas, pre-meeting briefings, meeting papers, room bookings, conference facilities, venues, collating and distributing meeting materials * Tracking, distributing and supporting various filings, certified mailings of treasury and controllership matters for each function * Managing the Treasury and Controllers department budget process including tracking of targets against actual spend, budget forecasting and handling sensitive and confidential information. * Designing and creating effective and well thought out presentations using PowerPoint. * Project Management support including task tracking, follow-ups and closure * Scheduling domestic and international travel arrangements, completing detailed meeting and travel itineraries and completing expense reports in a timely and efficient manner * Invoice processing to include tracking through request, approval, payment and closure * Receiving and dealing with telephone calls professionally, re-directing or taking messages and using initiative to deal with inquiries * Analyzing complex information requests with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism * Interfacing with all levels of the Otis organization and with external stakeholders in a professional and effective manner * Other administrative support and special projects as required Education / Certifications * Bachelor's degree preferred * AA/AS degree * Technical / Business School Certificate or Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship, or other post high school training (two years duration) with minimum of 7 years of experience considered Experience/Qualifications * 5+ years of progressive administrative support experience, in particular supporting executives * Experience working in a treasury and/or finance environment preferred * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Curious and inquisitive with a can do and forward thinking attitude * Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities * Experience managing, maintaining and communicating budgets * Project management experience with a focus on time and task management including tracking deliverables and deadlines, collaborating among project stakeholders, and providing clear reporting. * Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) * Experience with JDE preferred but not required United Technologies Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
