We care for you, so you can unconditionally care for patients.As the Associate Director, Learning and Development, you will have the opportunity to work towards the people strategy to enhance the associate experience and explore technologies that promote growth, scale, and efficiency. At TESARO we are cultivating a culture of dynamic learning, and building capabilities while positively impacting our patients. This role will lead the development and manage delivery of various company-wide L&D initiatives. This role will help realize the vision to create experiential learning for every program, to make learning fun, engaging, measurable, and impactful. This person will need to be resourceful to both identify needs as well as solutions that fit a growing and global organization, in which we will capitalize on existing expertise within HR and across the company, and work with vendor partners. This is an office-based position located in
Waltham, Massachusetts.

Job Responsibilities:

* Design, develop and implement innovative and scalable blended learning strategies, programs and processes. * Interact with subject matter experts across a variety of clients to identify needs of the business and develop learning solutions. * Create learning that is aligned to the applicable audience. * Implement and maximize learning technology through upgrades and procurement of tools and online resources (e.g. video streaming platform, Articulate 360). * Create People Strategy presentations for All Associate meetings, Executive meetings, etc. * Implemented and manage the learning Project Management process to ensure consistent standards are followed. * Develop "learning experience" methodology and associated measurement strategy to ensure user experiences are efficient, effective, and engaging and that the programs meet the business needs and objectives. * Lead the Learning Leaders Community, a groups of L&D professionals across the company, to share best practices, content, and to assist in broad initiatives when needed.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree or additional certification a plus.* 8 years of experience designing and developing learning solutions, (e.g. job aids, instructor-led and virtual training, webinars, videos, podcasts)* Strong knowledge and application of adult learning principles * Program and project management skills. * Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in applying adult learning theory and iterative instructional design methodologies (i.e., ADDIE,). * Proven experience creating and delivering training programs based on internal demand * Ability to work both tactically and strategically, in a small function * Demonstrated knowledge and capability navigating LMS systems (Cornerstone preferred)* Ability to facilitate in person and virtual learning sessions to ensure knowledge transferTESARO is committed to equal opportunity in the terms and conditions of employment for all employees and job applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity or gender expression, national origin, disability or veteran status.
