Job Title: Associate Director, Global Franchise Operations, Rare Diseases
The Associate Director of Global Franchise Operations for Rare Diseases will develop and implement strategies and tactics in support of Genzyme's global Rare Diseases franchise in close coordination with other members of the global, regional and affiliate cross-functional Rare Diseases teams. This position is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Support the annual brand planning process for the Rare Diseases franchise globally across therapeutic areas
Plan and execute Sanofi Genzyme participation in key international Rare Diseases congresses
Plan and execute commercial best practice sharing forums with participation from global, regional and affiliate teams (including the Global Rare Disease Summit)
Support the development and implementation of a global KOL engagement planning and coordinate activities across global, regional, and affiliate teams to ensure strong strategic, operational, and organizational alignment
Develop unbranded Rare Diseases initiatives to support internal/external communications
Support Global Rare Diseases team communication channels and forums including the Rare Diseases Global SharePoints and regional/affiliate alignment calls
Coordinate the implementation of a Global Training Platform for Rare Diseases
Provide support in annual budgeting for Global Franchise Operations projects
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing or business required; advanced degree preferred
8 years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience in sales and marketing roles. Experience in Rare Diseases preferred
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including some weekends and hold valid international passport
Team player; able to collaborate successfully with colleagues in a cross-cultural and complex matrix environment
Excellent people and communication skills, ability to operate and influence in a diverse and complex matrix environment, and ability to build sustainable social relationships within the organization and with customers
Demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects/priorities on-time and within budget
Excellent oral and written communication skills enabling effective communication at all levels of the organization
