First Republic Private Wealth Management is comprised of investment management, brokerage, trust, financial planning and insurance professionals within First Republic Investment Management (FRIM), First Republic Securities Company (FRSC), First Republic Trust Company (FRTC), and Foreign Exchange. We offer customized wealth management solutions for our clients from a wide array of services including comprehensive investment management, financial planning, estate planning, trust services, endowment management and more. Duties and Responsibilities

This is an exciting and multi-faceted role where you will be involved in all aspects of the Financial Planning business at First Republic. There are primary duties and responsibilities as well as secondary.

Primary Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities center around developing and growing a network of Financial Planners on our Wealth Manager teams. You will leverage our robust planning platform and continue to enhance our best in class planning solutions for high net worth prospects and clients of First Republic.

You will work collaboratively with Wealth Managers, Wealth Advisors and Relationship Managers to internally promote financial planning.

Training and education for Wealth Managers and Financial Planners on their teams will also be an integral part of your primary responsibilities and you will work closely with our Financial Planning Operations and Platform manager for Training and Education. Training includes:

  • Hands-on and one-on-one training and support using eMoney planning software

  • Group training sessions via Zoom or in person

  • Utilizing and leveraging training resources provided by eMoney where appropriate

While the primary responsibility is to focus on the Wealth Manager eMoney experience you will also be expected to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met.

Secondary Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Tracking Financial Planning activity by collecting data to assess the impact.

  • Assist with other operational aspects of the Financial Planning business that include plan reviews, developing marketing material and working on special technology and platform projects.

Primary Requirements:

  • Must have experience in creating and presenting comprehensive financial plans preferably using eMoney.

  • Must have prior experience as either a Financial Advisor or demonstrate a strong understanding of this role.

  • Must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with First Republic Relationship Managers and Bankers, and First Republic Investment Management Wealth Advisors and Wealth Managers.

  • Must be able to guide Wealth Managers to:

  • Compile information, conduct research and assemble all applicable client data necessary to develop a solid, viable, meaningful financial plan; this process may involve direct contact with the client/client delegates or investigative research using available online tools.

  • Utilize financial planning software to build financial models based on client data and information compiled.

  • Provide financial planning and eMoney software training and support in a "Coach" role for Wealth Managers and Advanced Planners.

  • Actively engage internal partners for new financial planning clients and leads.

  • Perform quality control testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the analysis developed by the Wealth Managers and the financial planning software.

  • Provide best practices training and coaching calls for Wealth Managers in the Wealth Manager Planning Network.

  • Maintain a command of new enhancements and features in the planning and data tools.

  • Prepare and/or develop internal business update reports.

  • Manage and maintain confidential client information.

  • Maintain data needed to measure outcomes of the planning engagements.

  • Participate in or lead various special projects related to planning and operations.


What skills you will use:

  • Solid understanding of eMoney and the essential planning concepts (i.e., estates and trusts, insurance, stock options, taxes, cash flow planning).

  • Strong understanding of investments and financial markets.

  • Familiarity with banking and wealth management products and services.

  • Strong analytical and technical abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under high pressure.

  • Sound judgement and reasoning abilities.

  • Intellectual curiosity.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel, eMoney and a familiarity with or ability to be trained on WealthTec and NumberCruncher software.

  • Tax background or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning.

Job Demands:

  • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in Person.

The Associate Director serves as a resource to departments and programs for specialized knowledge of budget preparation, financial reporting, and reconciliation. S/he is responsible for creating and maintaining financial reports for faculty, administration, and students.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><p>Strategically manages the review and reconciliation of revenue, ensuring all accounting systems accurately reflect department or program activity, including receipts, billing, and deferments. Monitors income and expense activities to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.
