Position Summary

The Associate Director, US Sales Operations, Hematology, will support operational initiatives specific to sales force planning and processes to drive effectiveness of the Hematology organization. This role requires a high-level of coordination across sales/sales strategy/marketing leadership and many supporting functions to deliver on core capabilities and business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for field sales/clinical nurse consultant (CNC) and marketing integration and alignment, sales/CNC communication plan, sales/CNC tactical execution, hematology franchise calendar and planning across hematology, oncology and cellular therapy.

  • Manage the development, implementation, and communication plan with field sales/CNC, with support from the Director as needed, including ensuring communications are aligned with overall communication plan for each brand (inclusive of brands spanning oncology and cellular therapy).

  • Responsible for the planning, coordination, development, and execution Monthly Field Manager Call agendas and content in collaboration with matrix team

  • Plan and execute all sales meetings throughout the year (i.e. POA, Region Sales Meetings, DBM Development, and summits) and broadcasts. In addition, manage the pull through from sales training as it pertains to POA and additional training needs.

  • Help align sales and CNC support of major congress meetings (i.e ASCO, ASH, etc).

  • Management and development of 2 Regional Sales Coordinators in combination with the RBD team.

  • Support the Senior Managers of Sales Operations with assigned brand marketing and training teams.

Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in role, the individual will need to:

  • Proficiently manage integrated timelines to execute important field sales touch points and meetings.

  • A proven track record of effectively and efficiently driving performance within a large matrix organization and a strong ability to build alignment and work collaboratively with others

  • Have ability to effectively collaborate and communicate across the matrix organization (members of the brand marketing, field sales, and sales training)

  • Problem-solving, and decision-making skills with strong confidence and desire to present and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate across multiple functions and levels

  • Clear understanding of BMS organization and policies

Qualifications:

  • BA, BS or equivalent degree required.

  • At least 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience and at least 2 years of other pharmaceutical experience including marketing, sales training, or sales operations.

  • Experience and knowledge of Oncology therapeutics and market is plus.

  • Strong business acumen skills, a proven track record of effectively and efficiently driving performance within a matrix organization and a strong ability to build alignment and work collaboratively with others

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with proven project management experience

  • Experience in utilizing online systems including sales force applications

  • While remote by design, expectation is at least 30% in home office
