Our Opportunity:

C4 Therapeutics is seeking a highly talented and experienced program manager to contribute to the discovery of novel Degrader therapeutics. The ideal candidate will have the scientific background and industry experience to accelerate the C4T portfolio projects.

The Associate Director, Program Management will drive the planning and execution of portfolio projects towards goals while contributing to the fulfillment of C4T's strategic, scientific and cultural vision. This role will predominately support the development stage programs. Candidates must be adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong desire to succeed in a team setting.

This Role:

  • Partner with Project Lead to develop and execute project strategy to move through the drug development lifecycle

  • Organize and facilitate team meetings in collaboration with the Project Lead - develop meeting agendas, issue meeting minutes, and track action items to completion

  • Develop and maintain cross-functional timelines, risk registers, and action logs

  • In collaboration with Project Lead, identify, communicate, and escalate project-wide interdependencies, issues, and key decisions

  • Ensure that cross-functional stakeholders and leaders are informed of the project by clearly communicating updates within the project team and with leadership

  • Serve as a thought partner to Project Lead through strategy definition and problem solving

  • Actively participate in Portfolio & Program Management team by supporting team objectives of continuous improvement

  • Establish and maintain both open and formal communication with senior leadership through timely portfolio reviews, resource evaluation, and gap analyses

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in a core life science discipline; M.A. or Ph.D. preferred

  • 5 - 7 years of relevant working experience in biotech/pharma R&D

  • Experience managing early-stage development program

  • Expertise in project management methodologies and tools (OnePager, ThinkCell, Smartsheet, MS Office)

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate across all levels of the organization internally and externally expected

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and cooperatively in a creative, entrepreneurial, and productive team environment

  • Proactive attitude and passion for discovery and development of therapeutics required

This is a highly visible role, and you will have primary responsibility for all aspects of data management for clinical studies and will provide leadership and data management expertise to our study teams.</p><p>This Role:</p><ul><li><p>Manage all aspects of data management for clinical studies for new and ongoing clinical trials.</p></li><li><p>For Outsourced trials, manage third party data management vendors activities including timelines, database build, review of data transfer specifications, data cleaning, query management, reconciliation and ensuring transfers and data delivery.</p></li><li><p>Participate in reviewing request for proposals and providing feedback (SOW, budgetary, contractual) for the data management vendors.</p></li><li><p>Provide input on clinical study protocols and other clinical trial documents</p></li><li><p>Provide input for key clinical data management deliverables, including Case Report Form (CRF) design, annotation, database design specifications, data entry guidelines, data management plans, edit check specifications, validation check testing and approval, and electronic data transfer agreements with external vendors.</p></li><li><p>Ensure consistency and adherence to Standards within a project</p></li><li><p>Develop and identify improvements to SOPs and processes</p></li><li><p>Represent data management on cross functional teams, providing study updates, timelines, communications of data management project status.</p></li><li><p>Manage and participate in data review with clinical study teams, safety and biostatistics throughout the study</p></li><li><p>Leads or supports Health Authority Inspections and audits</p></li></ul><p>Your Background:</p><ul><li><p>15 years industry experience plus a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Pharmacology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above-described responsibilities.</p></li><li><p>CCDM certification a plus</p></li><li><p>Familiarity and working knowledge of GCDMP, CDISC data standards, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR</p></li><li><p>Experience with various types of electronic data management tools (EDC, ePRO, eSource, IWRS, reporting tools)</p></li><li><p>Experience with any or all of the following systems: Veeva CDMS and Medidata Rave EDC preferred, JReview, Spotfire</p></li><li><p>Working knowledge of MedDRA and Who-Drug coding dictionaries</p></li><li><p>Oncology and/or complex study design experience</p></li></ul><p>Capabilities:</p><ul><li><p>Collaborate and communicate in an open and clear manner, listening effectively and inviting response and discussion with internal partners and external service providers</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate strong Project Management skills</p></li><li><p>Anticipate and proactively resolve issues when and where possible, applying logical methodology</p></li><li><p>Comfortable in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly accountable environment with large potential impact</p></li></ul><p>C4 Therapeutics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p><p>C4 Therapeutics is an Equal Opportunity Employer. C4 Therapeutics is committed to creating a safe and healthy workplace.
