What you'll be doing…

Data Science:

  • Advanced knowledge of experimental design and testing frameworks like A/B testing, Multi-armed Bandit testing etc. to guide optimal decisions across various key base-management initiatives related to churn reduction, revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Build frame-works to enable effective measurement of experiments at scale.

  • Research and build proof-of-concept models utilizing various machine learning techniques & traditional statistical techniques to drive optimal business decisions for various use cases like call-routing, revenue growth through initiatives like driving Walmart+ and other subscriptions.

  • Build Financial models leveraging Survival modeling and other machine learning techniques to to drive effective decisions across all base-management initiatives.

  • Develop Customer Segmentation Models and response rate models to help in effective targeting of customers across different base-management initiatives.

  • KPI forecasting leveraging time-series forecasting techniques to guide the business on metrics like churn etc.

  • Generate business insights by using various predictive modeling techniques.

Analytics & Data Enablement:

  • Synthesize predictive insights to concrete business actions and collaborate with teams across the value organization (Finance / Marketing / Operations / GTS / AI&D etc.) to drive successful business outcomes.

  • Leverage deep understanding of customer behaviors, strategic thinking, strong financial acumen and cross-functional aptitude to build analytical solutions to make the best informed decisions.

  • Work on building either cloud-based predictive modeling solutions (AWS/GCP using Pyspark or similar tools) or general predictive solutions depending on the use case.

  • Guide the build and enhancement of the Customer Data Platform with 360 degree view of customer and prospect profiles, interactions & demographics.

  • Enable team with Analytical solutions to evaluate marketing campaign's effectiveness and identify areas for optimization. Measure key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, return on investment (ROI), and customer engagement metrics. Provide insights to refine targeting strategies, messaging, and channel allocation for future campaigns.

Leadership:

  • Develop strong relationships with business partners across the value organization to drive transformational change.

  • Partner with functional groups (Finance, Marketing, Operations, GTS, AI&D and others) to drive effective business decisions.

  • Be recognized as a subject matter expert and participate in knowledge sharing sessions.

  • Continually broaden and strengthen knowledge of analytical methods, vendors and tools.

  • Manage/Coah other Data Analytics Professionals.

What we're looking for…

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Strong Predictive / Prescriptive modeling experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (/R) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik or native Python or other libraries like Plotly/Streamlit etc).

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience leading a team

  • Experience managing large complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders

  • Strong storytelling to drive recommendations based on the data analysis and articulate trade offs and communication plan to senior executives

  • Ability to translate complex ideas and express them in concise, simple to understand ways

  • Proven ability to take initiative, influence others and achieve results

  • Experience gathering, organizing and analyzing large amounts of information.

  • Experience presenting ideas and content to a variety of stakeholders at various levels.

  • Experience working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Advanced research, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to see things not readily apparent to others and to find unique solutions to complex challenges.

  • Experience managing and influencing relationships at the senior executive level. Ability to present and interact with all levels of management

  • Excels at working under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines with frequent interruptions and redefined priorities

  • Skilled and comfortable at working within the marketing matrix

  • A Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Economics/Econometrics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Operations Research. MBA highly preferred.

  • Five or more years of experience in developing and implementing analytical solutions to complex business problems/opportunities.

  • Five or more years of active experience in Data management, analysis and visualization to realize absolute and incremental commercial gains.

  • Experience working in the Consumer/Retail space within the Financial Services, Telecommunications, Technology or other related mass market industries or related work in the Public Policy, Bio-statistics and Scientific Research industries.

  • A passion for educating and communicating analytic findings and insights with integrity to all levels: from going over raw output with colleagues to creating PowerPoint presentations and storyboards that captivate and succinctly convey complex ideas to our strategic partners.

  • An appetite for improvement of our analytical products and processes built on a solid foundation of a lifelong love of learning.

  • High level of curiosity and investigative mind-set with an attention to detail, a tenacity of thought, the flexibility to adapt to new challenges and the resiliency to overcome short-term hurdles by staying focused on the team's deliverables.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $133,000.00 and $270,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
