Wayfair is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial product leader to take its catalog to the next level. The Associate Director of Operations Product Innovation, Cross Sell, will be responsible for driving exciting new developments leveraging Wayfair's catalog, with an aim toward growing revenue from cross-sell, up-sell, and swatches.

What You'll Do

  • Develop the vision around an integrated and continually updated vision for the health of Wayfair's merchandise catalog. Align the rest of the organization to the vision

  • Drive the development of product roadmaps touching Merchandising, Store Front, Legal & Compliance, Supply Chain, and other groups through a team of product owners

  • Deliver an ongoing stream of internal-facing product innovations that improve KPIs related to product catalog quality and completeness, catalog health, etc. in collaboration with business and engineering teams

  • Work with engineers to develop, QA, and roll out new tools and enhancements, ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved

  • Build, lead, and develop a team of user-centric, high-performing product managers

What You'll Need

  • 8+ years Product management experience working with operational systems

  • 4+ years experience successfully building, managing and developing highly effective teams

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally across a wide variety of teams, backgrounds/interests, and levels/seniority; readily able to tailor communication to your audience

  • Demonstrated track record of successful management of product development execution from vision, to deployment, and ongoing impact optimization

  • Demonstrated success in aligning of vision and execution across different functional organizations in highly matrixed environments

  • Application of product design mechanics in multi-user applications (ex. operational, executive, internal users)

  • Strong UX/UI experience

  • Experience with ROI/Impact analysis of feature deployment

  • Bachelor's degree in either a technology or business discipline, MBA a plus

Principal Duties and Responsibilities * Write and produce high-priority and high-impact communications including donor proposals and case statements; occasionally produce stewardship reports, acknowledgement letters and other correspondence, print publications, event collateral, speaking remarks and web and social media content. * Independently project manage long-term, strategic writing projects in collaboration with Communications and Major Gifts colleagues. * Under the guidance of the Senior Director of Communications and Cross-Cutting colleagues, advise on overall strategic communications direction to enhance the fundraising efforts of the Cross-Cutting programs. * As needed, assist in the development and implementation of stewardship deliverables for high-level donors managed by the Cross-Cutting team, collaborating with the Donor Relations team when appropriate. * Serve as a team resource and expert on communications issues like grammar, style and design; work with Marketing colleagues to ensure all content produced by the team aligns with the hospital's overall fundraising strategy and is consistent with Mass General's brand standards. * Manage and update a shared file structure that organizes communications and related project management documents in a sensible, intuitive way. * Develop and maintain an understanding of the breath of research, clinical, teaching and community outreach programs of Mass General and its departments, as well as institutional fundraising priorities. * Update actions and communications in a donor database. * Complete other duties as assigned. * Contribute to maintaining positive office morale, even in the face of high work volume and challenging periods. * Adhere to the mission, credo, and standards of behavior of Mass General Hospital. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience related to writing and editing. Experience in a scientific field or with scientific writing is strongly preferred.
