This role is responsible for overseeing Financial Services account implementations including large scale, national accounts. Position is critical to ensure successful onboarding of client relationships including interface with senior leaders across the organization, project teams, technology, operations and other key business functions. Client Account Implementations team will implement 1,700 new employer groups and 1,000 renewals in 2018. This team also is responsible to ensure seamless integration to Financial Services for new large business wins such as Disney, Bass Pro and ADP that have complex and customized plan features. The position has responsibility to hire and lead client account management team. Role will be responsible for managing approximately 10 direct reports as part of the span of control.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Owns an end to end process

  • Develops functional, market level, and/or site strategy, plans, production and/or organizational priorities

  • Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems outside own team

  • Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact entire functions and/or customer accounts (internal or external)

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of professional Project Management (Business) experience

  • Prior Client facing experience

  • 3 years of Client or Account Management experience

  • 3 years of Client Implementation experience

  • 2 years of experience managing a team

  • Experience managing large complex projects and success in juggling multiple tasks and issue resolution

  • Intermediate proficiency MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • HSA or FSA experience

  • Salesforce experience

This function will work with Optum business units to identify and deliver results on high-impact projects leveraging machine learning, artificial intelligence and big data. We are looking for someone who is passionate about asking and answering questions through the use of large structured and unstructured data. Primary Responsibilities: * Lead a team of data scientists to discover insights and identify opportunities through the use of statistical, data mining and visualization techniques * Conduct training and educational programs in data science * Document findings, including assumptions and validation work in a clear structured manner * Summarize and present findings; adjust the content and level of detail to appropriate level of the audience * Advise project teams and project sponsors * Use strong business, problem solving skills and programming knowledge to quickly cycle hypotheses through discovery * Work closely with clients, clinicians, data stewards, and other business and technology leaders to frame problem definition and potential solutions Required Qualifications: * Advanced degree in any quantitative field or similar experience with mathematical modeling * 2 years of statistical analysis, quantitative analytics, and/or forecasting/predicting analytics in a Corporate or Post Graduate setting * Experience applying machine learning in vertically and horizontally scaled environments * Experience with R or Python * Office locations available in order of preference for this role: Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; Eden Prairie, MN Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment * Experience with healthcare data * External reputation in the industry * Opportunity to travel both nationally and internationally Careers with Optum.
