The Associate Director, Business Technology will lead and support the critical processes of Allergan's IT Management Operations framework focusing on running the business of IT and continuously improving IT's operations to deliver business value. This position will work closely with and support senior management / executive leadership.
The Associate Director, Business Technology will be accountable for:
Identifying IT metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) working with IT Governance and Operations.
Publishing metrics and KPIs including trending and external comparison to measure IT performance.
Providing thought leadership and innovative ideas that can lead to improvement in Allergan IT's processes and ways of working.
Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures
Providing transparency to contingent worker staffing and help drive utilization of existing managed service providers.
Strong organizational skills, ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across a complex matrix organization and establish strong working relationships with business and IT leadership
Highly detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and meet objectives while simultaneously assigned to many tasks
Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills; interpersonal and collaborative skills
Possesses a professional manner and can work independently
Knowledge of accounting concepts, practices and procedures
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables
Experience with Portfolio and Project Management tools a plus
PMP Certification is a plus
