The Associate Director for Proprietary Requirements and Capabilities, reports to the Director of Business Development, Advanced Apertures and Multi-Function RF Payloads. The position will be accountable to implement business development strategies and campaigns for key Mission Systems proprietary programs. This position will lead the development and capture of strategic programs in the classified environment including responsibility for executing pursuit to order capture best practices. The importance of these activities provides an opportunity to gain exposure to the most senior leaders in the organization. A strong background in the business development function with multiple experiences leading competitive business capture in new and emerging areas. Prior experience working across organizational boundaries and in classified environments is desired.

This position will be located at a Collins or Raytheon facility with appropriate security environments or can be remote if within reasonable proximity of security environments.

Preferred Locations: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, McKinney, Texas and Marlborough, Massachusetts

Primary Responsibilities:

• BD capture lead for key proprietary programs

• Perform BD functional excellence best practices in the constraints of the classified environment including price to win, market shaping, and influencing.

• Developing strategies that span multiple opportunities and inform product line developments

• Brief senior leadership on progress and status in the appropriate environments.

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or

• An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or

• In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience

• Experience working in classified environments including restricted access programs

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

• Major Military Service Headquarters/Command Resource and Requirements experience a definite discriminator

• In-depth understanding of DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Execution methodology a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI security clearance (TS or TS/SCI preferred)

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
