The Associate Director for Alumni Professional Engagement provides leadership and management for Advancement's alumni professional engagement efforts, offering a comprehensive and innovative suite of services and programs that support individual and group counseling, in-person and virtual professional development, networking and mentoring opportunities and lifelong learning events.
Constructs, implements, and manages a fully integrated collection of lifelong professional development programming, services, events and resources to meet the needs of alumni at all stages of career management, including new graduates, experienced professionals and career transitions.
Executes on annual and long-term performance metric strategies to increase alumni participation rates set forth in the university's strategic plan.
Leverages UCF Advancement's constituent database to record, track and measure all alumni professional engagement activities to positively impact alumni participation performance metrics set forth in the university's strategic plan.
Collaborates, where appropriate, with Advancement colleagues to design and deliver professional development programming aimed at increasing alumni engagement.
Counsels, advises and provides technical assistance to Advancement colleagues regarding best practices in alumni professional engagement.
Collaborates, where appropriate, with campus partners to increase program effectiveness and ensure professional development resources are accessible to all alumni.
Establishes and oversees partnerships with internal and external instructional providers to provide more robust professional development opportunities for UCF alumni.
Manages Brazen contract and coordinate virtual networking events and training sessions in an effort to engage remote alumni.
Serves as UCF Advancement's primary liaison to UCF Continuing Education and partner, where appropriate, on conferences, seminars, workshops, online and self-study programs.
Enhances web presence and social media promotion of alumni professional engagement opportunities.
Stays current on trends and issues facing today's and tomorrow's workforce, and benchmark programs and services with peer and aspirational educational institutions.
Safeguards the confidentiality of constituent and departmental information and comply with UCF Advancement's data privacy and integrity standards.

Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience.

Ability to effectively communicate, handle multiple priorities, and handle the pressure of deadlines.
Should be able to work frequent evenings weekends.
Ability to meet deadlines as established.
The ability to build and maintain relationships with alumni worldwide to expand UCF's professional network and help alumni develop and leverage networks over a lifetime.
The ability to recruit and convene prominent alumni and internal and external stakeholders to speak at events to advance UCF's mission of being America's Partnership University.
