As a member of the Sherwin-Williams eBusiness Center of Excellence, the Associate Digital Product Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of the digital product strategy for The America's Group's (TAG) digital products. The Associate Digital Product Manager acts as a business requirements subject matter expert providing direction and guidance to our IT teams and agency partners.
Uses deep understanding of the Sherwin-Williams business model, our various customer profiles and the competitive landscape and shares knowledge to influence requirements prioritization and product decision making
Identifies and organizes design prototyping, UX research, and user testing to validate business case assumptions for new development and software releases
Manages backlogs and provides regular stakeholder updates to the product roadmaps
When appropriate provides quantifiable support for business needs and resource allocation
Writes and articulates use cases, user stories, feature specifications, and any additional documentation that defines the business needs for new development
Assists in the creation of release notes, internal product announcements, and internal/external documentation and training
Monitors development costs against budget and provides regular status updates
Synthesizes business and analytics data to report on product usage and measures success against key performance indicators
Performs other duties as assigned to meet company and team goals
This position requires 10% travel
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
5 years of business experience with progressively more responsibility and a track record of achieving results
2 years of experience in an eCommerce marketing/business role
Excellent written and verbal communication and project management skills
Ability to synthesize multiple sources of input (data, business stakeholders, client research, design) and arrive at high quality decisions
Prior experience managing digital products
Previous experience obtaining customer feedback and writing business requirements and user stories
Prior experience managing agency relationships
Experience with the full digital product lifecycle.
Exposure to B2B and B2C eCommerce, the building products industry, working with or within large Fortune 500 companies preferred
