Position Summary

As a member of the Sherwin-Williams eBusiness Center of Excellence, the Associate Digital Product Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of the digital product strategy for The America's Group's (TAG) digital products. The Associate Digital Product Manager acts as a business requirements subject matter expert providing direction and guidance to our IT teams and agency partners.

Core Responsibilities

  • Uses deep understanding of the Sherwin-Williams business model, our various customer profiles and the competitive landscape and shares knowledge to influence requirements prioritization and product decision making

  • Identifies and organizes design prototyping, UX research, and user testing to validate business case assumptions for new development and software releases

  • Manages backlogs and provides regular stakeholder updates to the product roadmaps

  • When appropriate provides quantifiable support for business needs and resource allocation

  • Writes and articulates use cases, user stories, feature specifications, and any additional documentation that defines the business needs for new development

  • Assists in the creation of release notes, internal product announcements, and internal/external documentation and training

  • Monitors development costs against budget and provides regular status updates

  • Synthesizes business and analytics data to report on product usage and measures success against key performance indicators

  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet company and team goals

This position requires 10% travel

Position Requirements

EDUCATION

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • 5 years of business experience with progressively more responsibility and a track record of achieving results

  • 2 years of experience in an eCommerce marketing/business role

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and project management skills

  • Ability to synthesize multiple sources of input (data, business stakeholders, client research, design) and arrive at high quality decisions

Preferred:

  • Prior experience managing digital products

  • Previous experience obtaining customer feedback and writing business requirements and user stories

  • Prior experience managing agency relationships

  • Experience with the full digital product lifecycle.

  • Exposure to B2B and B2C eCommerce, the building products industry, working with or within large Fortune 500 companies preferred

Position Summary As the eCommerce Digital Product Manager, you will focus on the delivery of best-in-class, innovative eCommerce experiences for our Sherwin-Williams Pro and DIY customer segments across our web and mobile platforms. You will work with closely with eCommerce team to determine business requirements to define our vision and work closely to evangelize the eCommerce platform, the product/platform strategy, roadmap and delivery for Product Initiatives to differentiate our eCommerce platform and services, such as competitive payment options and tech, Shopping Cart enhancements, Product upsell, Bundling, and eComm on our Product/Color Details pages. This cross-functional position achieves results through facilitation and collaboration with key stakeholders from across the business and information technology. The Digital Product Manager will be responsible for the successful launch of the digital product(s) they are responsible for, from ideation through implementation, as well as ongoing optimization. Core Responsibilities * Establish and refine a product vision focused on creating differentiated experiences that address the requested and unarticulated needs of customers across varied segments and locales. * Champion this vision throughout the organization. * Collaborate closely with peers from marketing, user experience, design, technology, customers and the field personnel to align initiatives and deliver complete journeys across devices & channels. * Focus on making SW's eCommerce platform best-in-class and augmenting our premium customer journey online * Work with our external EC platform partner and internal eCommerce partners to prioritize platform upgrades * Exceed customer expectations for making it easy to find and get product with best in class merchandising and search functionality * Manage and prioritize an evolving product roadmap that informs a backlog of technical initiatives both large and small. * Ensure the values of our customers are effectively woven throughout the product. These include varied market segments such as national accounts, commercial contractors, architects, designers, residential painting contractors and homeowners. * Stay up-to-date with the rapidly evolving digital landscape to inform forward-looking roadmap. * Be fully-versed in how experiences are being delivered to the customer and how those experiences are performing against established goals. * Communicate and present well, with experience preparing and giving presentations to various stakeholders about strategic customer experience direction. * Work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to work not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business, product, and technical domains. * Have experience with structured, hypothesis-driven product improvements, metrics analysis, consumer insights and design experimentation. * Connect the experience together with various measurements including sales, engagement and brand loyalty. * Ability to travel 10-15% of the time and relocation assistance is available.
