Job Description Summary
Lamb Weston is in the process of building out its IT infrastructure and IT strategy. We are seeking an associate developer who will use prior education and experiences to quickly make a positive impact on the applications development team.
Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
Design, development, and deployment of Integration solutions for Cloud, On-Premises and Hybrid scenarios.
Responsible for developing, supporting, testing, and enhancing assigned applications.
Assist in providing standards for development platform/solutions.
Analyze, design and develop software solutions through writing code or configuring existing systems
Demonstrated experience with integration patterns related to Web Services, SOA (REST), etc.,
Documents all code changes, properly houses in a code repository and maintains strong code standards
Prepare / update technical specifications and architectural artifacts as needed
Seeks efficient coding changes
Works in tight collaboration with Architecture on solution designs and architectural reviews
Effectively plans and manages all code changes into a release cycle and properly plans with Change Management for all production code release
Ensures integrations are tested prior to QA or another handoff
May build testing plans and coordinates proper testing (UI/UX/UAT/Code)
Actively participates in product road mapping for all assigned applications
Proactively solve and understand how a business process can be enhanced and improved using application integration tools coupled with the knowledge of choosing the most effective option for a customer.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Position Qualifications:
BS in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical degree or related technical experience
Minimum of 1-3 years technical software engineering experience
Experience supporting high-volume transactions Platform.
Must have extensive development experience with various development languages (Java, C#, C++, .NET technologies, Visual Basic, etc.)
Intermediate knowledge of Cloud Solutions and related technologies
Intermediate knowledge of AWS
Experience on building and designing REST, XML over HTTP APIs
Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to code or understand complex applications
Expertise in development of integration processes using cloud solution tools
Requires proficiency in SQL query language and relational databases
Must have experience with Cloud initiatives, SaaS, IaaS and PaaS with exposure to Big Data, ERP, etc.
Experience with container technologies a plus (Docker, Kubernetes)
Travel: 10% of the time

A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $65,510.00 - $98,250.00
